Hi Seniors

Anybody please suggest me what i need to do. MY application received 16th May but still didn't get any email. i called them several times but they told me that they dont have any excess i system. dilemma going on my mind :( :(

1) Try calling them repeatedly until you get some nice guy / lady on the line who would be willing to give you your UCI. Then after getting your UCI, you can check your status on ECAS. (Some Applicants just told the agent to give them their UCI nothing else and they were successful in getting it, while some were lucky enough to get their actual status)

2) If you have sent your application 8 ~ 10 weeks ago, then you can email at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca to get the status of your application. You have to send them your Last name, First name, Date of Birth, Country of Birth, Date of receipt of your Application at CIO, NOC Code in order to get the reply. You will receive a reply by email within 20 working days.

Thanks canadasuperb. I just noticed your PCC is partial. Why partial? Just asking for my knowledge if I need anything else to cover as part of PCC.

I was late in applying FBI clearance so I was not able to send it with application that's why I just sent indian pcc. I have it now but I think I have to reapply if my application gets approved as they will not accept PCC older than three months. For my case, FBI took 5 weeks to sent me the letter. I would advise you to wait for a while till your file gets transferred to VO.

k thanks mighty

did he knew abt his app return while calling to cic or .....via sending them email.....if you know plz share......

I have sent a email to CIC, asking about my app status.

I got a email after three weeks, saying that my application was sent back on June 20th.

Thanks Upey.
I had that thought too, but then I found out that FBI takes 5-6 weeks minimum to process a request. So thought of keeping it ready in case I need it. Its valid for a year.
Keeping my fingers crossed for CC charge, then PER :) Hope we all get through!
I don't think it is valid for one year. In the website ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp) it is stated that the certificate must have been issued no more than three months before we submit our application.

Damn it, 13 new pages in 5 hours :'(

can someone summarize for me ;D ?

OMG , the copy of application that I kept for my own records does not have any signatures on payment form :o.......just going mad over if I did on the original or not....congrats to all who got their PERs
