I am applying for US PCC. Do I need to apply for State clearance certificate as well or just the FBI certificate is enough? FYI, I was in the US on work permit (No PR or Citizen status)

Finally got the PER today.

Good Luck for the rest of the folks.

I think getting PER is analogous to passing the first trimester of pregnancy after which you can kind breadth easy.

They would mention in the email if they need state clearance too but for now FBI is good enough.

Thanks canadasuperb. I just noticed your PCC is partial. Why partial? Just asking for my knowledge if I need anything else to cover as part of PCC.

I had that thought too, but then I found out that FBI takes 5-6 weeks minimum to process a request. So thought of keeping it ready in case I need it. Its valid for a year.
Keeping my fingers crossed for CC charge, then PER Hope we all get through!
