Hello Seniors,

I would like to get some clarification before I launch my FSW application.I have total 8.5 years of experience and out of that 1.1 years as Design Engineer ( Integrated Circuit,VLSI) which falls under NOC 2147 and 7.4 years of experience as Programmer Analyst which falls under NOC 2174.So my question is that
1.Can I apply under NOC 2147 because at present I am working as Programmer Analyst and the experience I had as Design Engineer is 7 years back?.
2.Can I launch 2 application under different NOC because I have exp on both the areas?.

In both case I meet the eligible point for applying for FSW but the reason why I am thinking in this way is becasue 2174 might be filled by this time and there is no point in applying for that now.

Any advice will be really appreciated.

NOC 2174 is most likely already full, so go for 2147.

2174 already full?? We have seen 24th May applicants who were charged and CIC is currently with 24/27th May applications.
I would request you to please stop being negative, if not positive.
We all know someday 2174 will definitely be filled and let CIC guys decide and announce when it is full.

The user nithin700 is only planing to apply, therefore I said that by the time he gets together his docs it is very likely that 2174 will be full...Please read more carefully before you post.....

I would suggest you to apply under NOC 2147, as the chances are bright. If you have minimum 1 year experience in last 10 years, you are good to go.

Well there are two issues here

1.Nobody know for sure the cap limit
2. There is a requirement of one year relevant work experience within pas 10 years, so you are gud to go )

So I would suggest go for 2147...

You can apply for any 1 year exp in last 10 year.. and belive me no one will ask you that que.... So Hope for the best and apply for the rest...

There is nothing like 7 years back, you are good as long as your experience is more than 1 year and in last 10 years. You may need to have the letter from your employer with all the duties listed and they should match with NOC 2147.

What is your bank? Weird I check with my bank RCBC that it is still outstanding? WHo is your agent if it is all right to ask?

Hello! My bank is Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and my agency is Canadian Immigration Consultancy or www.go2canada (poor service based from my experience), beware Filipino applicants). I went on my bank yesterday coz I'm already anxious (havent heard from my agent yet that time) and they told me my DD is still outstanding so I'm suprised I got PER today dated Aug1.
