Congrats to everyone who has received their PER and the Cc charged. Please I have a question.

My agent just called me that she can't send our application yet because our passports will expire in February and she thinks the passport has to be valid for 1year. I can't find that written anywhere in the checklist. It will take atleast 5 days to get the passport done but time is of the essense and I'm afraid that further delay might make us miss the cap for NOC 0211. Please what do you all advise.

Don't think you have to.

Personally I would get the new passport. I renewed one of our families before applying, figuring it would save hassle in the long run.
I can see your concern though. Nobody really knows when 0211 will be full, but it looks OK so far...

Please keep us updated to reduce tensions here as it seems the boat is moving towards 24th applicants.

i got my UCI over phone last week.
Ecas says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided".

I have a question

Can I send two applications each belonging to different NOCs??

I have work experience for NOCs 2174 (Computer programmer) & for NOC 2134 (Chemical Engineer). I have already sent an application for 2174 but scared that it might miss Cap limit, so can I send another application with NOC 2134 with all set of documents??

That is not true....For applying for FSW you should have a valid passport or travelling document.There is no mention of validity of passports or travel documents.

After application and you recieved PER if they ask for your passport for further processing then the validity comes into picture.For Visa stamping passport must be valid for atleast 6 months from the day of Visa stamping.

Mine passport is expiring in November 2013 and I applied and received PER too.Now I have applied for a new passport.
Once I will receive my new passport I will inform my Visa office (New Delhi) regarding the changes...

Its my 300th post
With the grace of God, I have received PER mail on 29th July at 7:52 PM IST.
My ECAS status is showing-->We have received your application for PR on May 16th, 2013

Congrats to all who have received PER and got CC charge.

Leo1134, I've one last question for you. Did your returned application had some UCI no. mentioned on it? Just to confirm whether having a UCI no means anything positive or not. Thanks again.
By the way, have u sent your application back yet. U need to do that immediately without wasting any time.

All the supporting documents were all there. Yes, they sent it back just because of old schedule 3.

Hi Newest - I though about sending the updated form but figured I would get the documents in a week. Also waited out to see if I was missing any other docs.

Hi Adapacc - would you mind sharing the content of the email. I got PER on 26th June but have not heard anything since then from Delhi VO (so called AOR email). Also, one of the user from this forum sent me PM saying he got AOR where the processing time mentioned was 72 months - sounds ridiculous..

Please clarify - who n all have received AOR (from Delhi or from any other VO)...

today i got mail ..my file as reached visa office new delhi....some on has mentioned in the forum that it is going to take 72 months..but it is not true...hope everyone in the forum will come up gud news..plz update my status

My file was returned on 21st June 2013 due to additional spouse form missing.
As on today 20th July, i have still not received back my returned file (India).. been 1 month
