some DD will have specific time period ( 1 year validity) any normal foreign DD is valid for 6 Months.
This is no speculation got the info from the bankers itself. ( normal RM,s would say three months - which was told to me also). So guys don't worry at all.

For all those persons who had their files transferred to their local VO's and have gotten AOR, please advise if there is a estimated processing time period contained in your AOR and share the actual letter if you don't mind. I have someone who is concerned about the content of his letter and who like you see if anyone got similar information.

they wrote

your application has been received and is in the queue for initial processing

Yeah,
I send via my app. via an agency, they got the notification through e-mail and they informed me.

Just seeing this...apologies....so it does seem confirmed that the New Delhi Vo is sending out this form letter.

Maybe they are being sarcastic and frustrated about the strike issues But yes, anything is possible, I just hope we do not end up like 2008 cases.

My ECAS status is showing-->We have received your application for PR on May 16th, 2013

Congrats to everyone who has received their PER and the Cc charged. Please I have a question.

My agent just called me that she can't send our application yet because our passports will expire in February and she thinks the passport has to be valid for 1year. I can't find that written anywhere in the checklist. It will take atleast 5 days to get the passport done but time is of the essense and I'm afraid that further delay might make us miss the cap for NOC 0211. Please what do you all advise.
