I have sent the reuqest about my application whereabout, and i also sent additional docs later. My initial application sent on 29th May 2013. Additional docs reached on June 28th. Can you explain me what this mail says?

From my point of view, they are currently processing 22nd - 24th of May application, thus 29th of May haven't filled in yet in the Computer. Though not so sure but that could be the best logic.

dwijshah, hang on.. there us a major misunderstanding you need to clear. The requirement is -
You need to have 1 year experience in last 10 years in the relevant field.

Not everyone is filing under the category of the job they are currently working in. For example, I may be a computer professional, for say 4 years in past 10 years and currently running a restaurant. I can still file under the computer professional NOC (if the duties match) against my past job - which was within 10 years range. All you have to do is explain what you have been doing since then, which may or may not be directly related to the NOC you are filing in - and her exp is not too different per say.

So, the only thing you should be concerned about is whether you feel you will be able to make it if you filed under 2174. If not, then you may go for 2147.

Bro, Let me explain you my scenario. Yes I understood there is a misunderstanding.

Now, lets forget about my wife's scenario, I can explain it on me as well. I did my BE IT in 2005 and after that 4 years of Experience in various companies and then 4 years self employed. I was doing Programming (2174) and Network Setup, System Installation Stuff as well (2147) in last 4 Years. Now, based on the current scenario, it seems that 2174 is of no use for me at this time. But there are little to very little chances in 2147. So, I'm planning to apply for 2147.

Now, in order to show the Experience, I have to Produce IT Return as a proof of self employed, company registration letter (I have it), Few of my client's Work Done (on their letter heads, with information like what I did, charges, time it took etc). In that case I show show only 4 Years of Experience right?
