Well this was the same situation I was trying to say Yesterday, But even the admins did not take it in account.
Instead the admins even created a FAQ which answered that once UCI is issued , we are through. But I did try to throw caution to the wind by saying that getting a UCI does not confirm PER. One final stage is still left.
I am not trying to get anyone down but experience does count.
After CC charge, its the final and more thorough investigation is done before we are issued PER.
i was even rejected because :
1> did not send my marksheets to confirm how many years i had studied , though degree was submitted
2> did not send sisters utilitiy bills (had only sent PR card confirmation and birth certificate of hers.
I guess its my 4th Application, have burnt my fingers many times and not even sure that I might get through this time, until and unless i get the PER.
Fingers crossed.

Dear bhFSW2174:

You are very much persistent in your query. I know you have asked the same question for so many times especially from Islandbabe and Jigzyy but everytime someone else replies but you don't get satisfaction. I am noticing your queries because i am in same situation. I told already in a post that my DD was from a nationalized bank in New Delhi to a branch in Toronto (RBC).

Also my status says same thing "In Process" and I believe everyone who were on 15/May could see their status as same but waiting impatiently from CIO.

Let me help you in this for a while from my earlier experience. As long as completeness check and MI are done we are ok but as Darkman explained even though small possibility there is a possibility worth mentioning that the visa officer may come up with s
See, I agree with your point to some extent. I know how FSWP works and has been matured in past years. I have been myself trying since 2010 :) But, this year, CIO has changed few things around. PER used to take 18+ days in the past years, which has gone down to as early as 1 day and average is around a week.

This is from their own website, and as far as we not getting NER, we are sticking with the point that, Ecas login + In process = confirm PER.

My Take on it is that with CIC you can get rejected at ANY stage...until you land and they send you your PR card, and even then you have to be careful to not have it taken away. Citizenship is the only totally safe haven.

Dear JohnyZee,

You are also right in your assumption. The fact is that CIC over the years have grown up and have exactly defined everything in their documents checklist now what to attach to claim the points in the adaptability leaving hardly anything for the Visa Officer to look something negative.

However, at the end it would still be wise to say that the final approval comes in the form of PER approved through visa officer on the file.

:)

All i am saying is lets wait for that Mail.

Hope we all get PER, but all i am saying is lets wait.

I totally agree with u. Until and unless we dont land and get the permanent PR card we still are hanging,
There are millions of checks happening and even when we land in Canada with the temporary card and COPR even the immigration officer is checking our details.
It takes 60 days now to get Permanent card once we land in Canada, till that time,
expect the best and dont get hopes high.
Do the best and wait.

Further adding,
It wont take CIC or VO to reject anytime, even with minor problems, like when they call ur company and reception doesn't understand . or if they send someone in ur office and someone states different to what is written in ur experience letter. loads of things.
Just keep waiting and expect the best.
Its more than a years roller coaster ride.

This undeniably the truth. Until the Citizenship, you are hanging. But the discussion was for PER :D

Dear Jigzzy,

Perhaps the answer is in front of us but we are not looking at it.

The fact is that CIC knows their visa officers are very expensive guys ( As we all now know now with their strike action also..) hence over the years they have tried to shift most of the time consuming process to either to CIO officers who work a lot cheaper than a visa officer and this time for the first time they have even outsourced the educational assessment (ECA). It was the biggest process involved in the eligibility criteria. You know that it was a damn big task for CIO officers to assess the genuineness of the educational qualification specially from those candidates where the university and school education system is not very well defined. Hence by outsourcing this task to WES and similar organisation they have actually offloaded a big amount of work from their shoulders.

Now the same(or more) strength of officers are working for more useful process hence you could see the difference between the turnaround time of PER also as said earlier if you compare all the document checklist in previous years, you will notice that things have been very well defined with no confusion for anyone.

We could surely add some difference in the governance or administrative part of the CIO as a result of constant improvement.

To sum up the process in terms of issuing PER can never change. The PER would surely be last step in confirmation and will be issued after every other process of eligibility has been performed and could bring surprise results. Though with all this efforts the % has been narrowed down to almost 1 or 2%(my guess)

I hope this clears the air further on this topic. ;D ;D

You'll be ok if you sent in a brown envelope. Otherwise, they don't like copies in the white ones (it hurts their eyes)!

I did not send the evaluation in a seperate envelope, it was with the application package. In the same order it is mentioned in the documents checklist.
