How many times before people here were complaining about excessive congrats, chit chat, irrelevant information, same questions newbies keep asking over and over again? Personally, I agree with most of these points. And offered my view on solution.
Ok, after so much complaining and appeals did anything changed? Nothing. Next page turns and same over again.

Why? It is a nature of the forums. It doesn't work this way.

Yes, admin created a special new thread for questions, chit chat and congrats, nobody is there. Why? It is in human nature.

I completely agree. This forum is to share information, to discuss issues, and to improve our knowledge of how things are progressing.

If someone hears a rumor about a cap, we share it. If the rumor is proved to be false, everyone is happy. If a rumpr proves to be true, we have learned something.

We are not just here to share happy news. We are here to share and discuss good and bad news and to ask and answer questions and to generally support each as we move forward with the immigration process.

I am also based in UAE. I was advised by a friend mention London as the Visa office. are you sure Abudhabi can be mentioned as the visa office

I am not sure about the abu dhabi office because I wrote a mail to them for some enquiry and their reply was:

Dear members,

A special note for NOC 2174.

As we all know that until last moment i.e. 18-Apr-2013 when CIC declared the list of eligible occupation. no one was knowing that 2174 or 2147 or 1112 will be included.

Although these are HOT NOC's but most of the people were not prepared with it.

Now when finding that 2147, 2174 etc. is included and if people started for preparing the ECA, IELTS etc. then too it will take at least one month time to do all this sort of things.

Further Spouse IELTS is near to mandatory in order to qualify.

So, this time I don't think that NOC will be filled within 10-20 days. It will take around 25 working days to get it filled.

Don't worry guys and my sense says that people should stay calm.

The same was the case when 2011 MI was issued with 29 NOC list. In 2011 hitting the cap limit in Hot NOC like 1112 etc took greater amount of time

Well personally I don't like this, I mean 25 working days because my app reached CIC at July 09. So please leave out the time when it is filled, just say it is not yet.

It will take around 25 working days to get it filled.

It is alright if you chose New Delhi visa office.
You could have also chosen London visa office being a resident of Saudi Arabia
