Taking in account all this mess they are in, they can probably charge you later. Not on FIFO basis.

Indeed, this spreadsheet is the only source of relative information we have now. CIC updates are useless and give no clue about caps filled and what is going on there.

Congrats to all those who got the CC's charged and got their PER.

I read it on the CIC website

"About the application cap

Due to the large number of applications we get, we can only consider a limited number of applications per year. Between May 4, 2013, and April 30, 2014, we will consider no more than 5,000 complete FSW applications for processing. Within the 5,000 cap, we will consider no more than 300 applications per eligible occupation for processing within this same time frame."

But on the contrary does it mean , 24 X 300 = 7200 Applications?
Or would it be like 5000-1000 (P.Hd.) = 4000 (Remaining)
So the 4000 would be divided among the remaining 24 occupations?

CIC would accept a total of 5000 applications irrespective of the NOC's.
After 5000 applications, even if an NOC is not filled up with 300 applications, an application for that NOC would be out of the cap because the limit of overall 5000 is reached.

An applciation should be with in 300 applications for a particular NOC and also with total 5000, then it would be considered if all the documents are fine.

Phd applications have a separate 1000 cap and there are 5000 slots ofr the 24 NOC's.

They suppose to do so, but they only claiming it, as many other things about "improved and faster process", weekly updates and so on.
I wouldn't count on this 100%.
As I said they are in complete mess.

Actually, you are wrong here. They will accept 5000 COMPLETE applications. So the ones that reach are not completed then they dont count towards the total.

I agree with you idima. I wonder if the admin of this thread has a way to block those kinds of people. We should all be aware that we're not here to brag with each other of who got first and who are last in line, but to share useful information. I may not actively participating as I don't have anything useful/impt info to share but I'm always following every post here and it's very disgusting to see these sorts of nonsense statements. He does mean completed application , No one would be talking about incomplete applications at this point.
Bottom Line : The Least Favorite NOC or rather the noc with the least traction in applicants is bound to get its cap quota taken over by other running NOC. if the global cap count of 5000 is reached some noc even with very few applicants like 5 or 10 will get closed.

I would advise you to keep an eye on CIC update. One update might be today and then make ur judgement after that. In the meantime, gather all ur documents. Best of luck!!!
