chances are always low , one month after the announcement of the new program

Dears, I think you are totally wrong about these Dexter/Mike/Krszwda etc. personalities. These are only the office workers who signed your courier's hand-held device when (s)he dropped your packages. They are not the CIC officers who will process your applications (and how could one and the same person make the eligibility checks on so many different NOC codes). Please let's leave these guys alone, as nothing depends on their work.

Unfortunately I did not see 2174/2147 announced their cc get charged although I know some did prepare for it. This year is quite quiet. I did not join the chat group, maybe there are some. All voice I heard on the forum is 1112. Almost all chinese on that forum know this forum and I know they are watching us now.^_^。but it is up to them to join the spreadsheet.

I must say I am a little bit envious of the 2174 folks...you guys seem to be moving very fast are on 10 May now. Unfortunately, other hot NOCs like 1112 and 2147 seem to be stuck on 8/9 May. Come on CIC, show us you can do better than this...

Johnny, I think we will see a big spike for 2174 during this CAP count update. Lot of folks might get nervous.
It is evident from CIO's action that 2174 is a Tsunami NOC and if they dont take action and clear this NOC first, applications will keep pouring in and CIO will get crazy. I think it is CIO's best interest to announce that CAP is reached for 2174 ASAP. Then 1112 and then 2147 hopefully.

Yes, they are definitely CIC employee, but as I said they are not responsible for the overall processing of the applications. Also according to this link you sent, he works in Toronto and our apps are being received in Sydney.

yes 2174 is really hot in addition to that with lot of confusion regarding similar occupations 2173, 2172 and 2171 ; because of 2174, CIC is going to have the the greatest burden, the condition of receiving 300 completed application per cap is very strict so ultimately no body can predict , even 2147 will have similar fate !!

Considering the first update was few weeks after FSW program opened, it wouldn't surprise me if the next update is at the end of July ... Basically update once every 3 weeks or so!
