My congratulations to all of the guys and gals who finally got their fees cashed and those who got PER so far!
Rest of us will enjoy our waiting time and are very excited about this, thanks to CIC. In anticipation of CIC update I wonder how many applications they process per day and how many employees are doing this job.
My guess is that, it is only one employee and his name is Dexter. I memorize all those pictures of mountains of paper somebody posted before and in awe of Poor Dexter and gigantic job he has to do. ;D
The math is following.
They have to process and approve only 3000 applications this year, taking in account about 10% rate of rejected applications, the total count is 3300.
Let's assume that it takes about 30 min of working time for one employee to process one application including coffee breaks, smoking and toilet trips, disruptive phone calls and so on, let's be generous, we are all humans...
So, basically, one employe is processing 16 application per 8 hours working day.
We had 2 CIC count updates so far.
I cannot say how many days it took for Dexter to process his first 26 applications, but taking in account that second CIC update was 4 days later and during this time he managed to process additional 39 application, that is 39 divided by 4 equals 10 applications he is doing per day.
Let's not forget that he might be on strike of not feeling good or the right mood from time to time, so it's kinda what is his expected work output.
My guess is next CIC update (if it will be today) will be 100-150 additional. Same rate 10-16 applications per day.
So Dexter might be able to complete this job (3000 approved applications) till the end of the year. Go for it, Dexter. We all count on you.
