Lawyer got the PER and application confirmation from CIC in email.

Yes 300 is a small number but
this time it has been opened for a very specific NOC 2174 ,
remember 2173, 2172 and 2171 are brother occupation so we never know what CIC gonna decide by
seeing job duties and experience letters ( which of course can be tweaked ) ,
just wait and watch , but I am sure its not gonna be a cakewalk this time for compute science engg.

I'm engg graduate with 10+ years exp & working in USA right now. I'm interested in new FSW program. My occupation fall under :2174 - Compyter programmer and media developers." I'm hinking to apply for this year quota, but I have not applied for IELTS exam yet & education evaluation yet. Need to start...

If I start now then by Spet I would be ready with IELTS score & evaluation. Considering total 300 application for 2174 category, do you it is good idea to put all effort in applying under this year FSW program. My worry is 300 is not big number & theat could have reached by now.

Recentally I contacted one lawyer "A & K" and ask them for sugestion but they are saying I might get quialified & I should try applying under this year quota..But again my worry is if 300 reached then I will loose my money & time both...Please suggest!!!!
