Ok so I have just found this thread so apologies if these questions have already been answered (AMAZING spread sheet by the way - I will post our details soon) - basically I am just wondering:

1) did the people who are noting that their fees have been encashed all pay by credit card (ie they are noticing the fees being debited on their credit card statement?)? I just wonder as we sent a bankers draft so will have no way to tell when it has been cashed.

2) in the spreadsheet - what does PER/NER received mean? Is this the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) from CIC? If so, am I reading the spreadsheet correctly that no one on the spreadsheet has heard anything official from CIC yet?

Just briefly FYI - our application was signed as received on 10 May and we have heard nothing as yet (NOC 2174). Will post our full details for addition to spreadsheet tomorrow as need to get to bed now before the baby wakes up for the first time!

2) See the "Abbreviations" tab. PER means Positive final Eligibility Review. NER means negative. Yes you are right; No one has got any PER/NER communication so far.

I dont think that its that we have MORE CPP-O applicants this year, but based on the fact that we had to await the updated forms we all had to send off our packages at pretty much the same time, so based on geographic proximity, the files from CPP-O got to CIO first and will be processed first.

Agree with you; that would seem to be the logical explanation. But I am exploring the possibility of there being more CPP-O's then before. Anyway, it is a moo point speculating about something I really don't know much about.

Bubun of course I am JOKING, I couldn't do that . Just hate these days with no updates, and there are some really great 'forumites' who are beside themselves because their CC's haven't been charged. Even with our offer of free drinks....nothing.

Looks like a dry day at CIO office. who wouldnt say NO to free drinks ??
