Well, it's always good to have the photocopy of entire application package in the case if CIC says that you didn't submit a certain document. I have my complete application scanned including photographs and self addressed mailing labels. The date of scanned documents pdf file creation might or might not help you to fight with CIC if needed, in the case of them losing your document/s. At least I can check myself if I did a mistake or not, as my application package had over 1 kg of weight and it had over 180 pages.

Yes, Wife + One Kid + Lots of Settlement fund docs + Many Relative Proofs + All family forms + Education Certificates + ECA + Job letters and salary slip and many more...

So lots of stuff to make it 1.24 Kg

So your was only 1.24kg even with family included?? So how come mine was weighing almost 60kg. Oh maybe bcos I packaged myself in the envelop before sending...lol

I sent the minimum required documents without adding salary slips, visiting cards etc etc etc with 1 paper of Bank Certificate testifying the minimum required amount.
