Luizmattos......It its not too much....do you mind sharing a copy of the job details you submitted.

Sure, I'll do that when I get home!

Just got home, here we go:

For my current job:
Coordinate development teams
Systems maintenance
Report development life cycle status
Gather business requirements
Develop web systems
Document system requirements

For my previous experience (this is true for my 2 previous jobs, kinda redundant):
Develop web systems
Business logic programming
Gather business requirements
Build test cases
Create and update system documentation
Systems maintenance

I hope this is enough for them to consider me eligible for NOC 2174.

Looks more than enough to me.

Seniors, I have a question related to Sachin's case.

the normal procedure for CIO (as per our guess work) is to first charge CC and then check eligibility based on NOC.

In Scahin's case, even though he did not sign the payment form, CIO checked his eligibility based on his NOC. does it mean that this year CIO is checking eligibility and then charging CC?
It this is the case then those whose CC got charged cleared all stages related to CIO and PER is the next step for them.

Hello jig nesh, I think my case is very similar with your. My application was received on May 8th by Donnie, NOC is 2147. My CC hasn't been charged till now. I am beginning to worry about this... Can you please confirm yours has/hasn't been charged? Thanks.

Please include yourself in the tracker.

Hi Thinkerpro,
No, Mine is also not charged. I will still give this week to get CC update. Beginning next week I might withdraw my hope and wait for application to return. Can you please tell me which is you Visa office?
So far I have seen none of New Delhi VO guys charged under any NOC.

Congrats Luismattos and Vertigoden!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

My chosen Visa Office is Hong Kong, but I am assuming all the CC would be charged in CIC Canada. Don't give up your hope.

1978bubun, I would prefer to keep it private for a while. But I will update you guys if I have any positive news/milestones on my application. Thanks.

Agreed ...the second letter definitely spells it out.....you are a programmer.

Thanks for the support, that's my only real concern, I'm assuming they could be picky about the job duties.

Everything else in my application is according to the minimum requirements.

The only thing that I have to figure out now is when and how should I include my recently born son (he was born right after I applied), maybe you seniors could explain that (I didn't find anything very specific about that on CIC's website)?

Thanks. Mine is DD. If I go by the official rules, then I guess CIO will inform [like PER or NER or maybe the whole package ???] me before my bank. lol

Once you get your PER and your file has been transferred to your VO and you get UCI (file number)...you will get an email with the info. At that point you can request an addition. For now just enjoy your new baby and prepare documents such as birth certificate and passport. Congrats on the little one.

Apart from this main experience letter, which is my current occupation, I used 4 more IT experience letters, out of this I used NOC code of 0211
for 2 jobs and 2174 for 2 jobs, but the job duties are almost similar.

I dont think I can now change the Job title to Programmer Analyst !!

Dear Sachin, how could you do this man!!! your JD is so generic, can apply to any computer/software programmer, doesn't say anything about media, interactive kind of programming!!
