My documents were received bu CIC last May 22, 2013. I have notification just yet from CIC. I went to my bank this morning to check for status of my demand draft. They said that there is no way for them to check if the demand draft I sent was encashed by the Bank of Nova Scotia.

I guess there is no method I could employ to check if at least my package was opened and checked for completeness by CIC.

Waiting in vain.
The bank will get to know if the DD has been liquidated, u need to speak with the forex RM of the bank.. he needs to mail and find out which takes 24 hrs( that's whats happened in my case )

OOps ! Just in time. Thanks.

Edit: CIC Chart be Bar chart, pls. They represent absolute values at specific dates. Lines connecting them do not signify anything. Thanks for the marvelous work buddy.

I've tried it, Its not taking bar chart. I would have used it :(

Oh well, No probs then. Maybe google sheet isn't that smart yet.

what is your bank chokoy? i used bpi for my DD. of course there is a way for them to check if DD has been negotiated already. when i asked my bank about it, they just emailed the bank of ns and i got to know the status the following day. i think you should do the same, chase them to check the status of your payment. as for me, i will try again my luck next week. well, hoping...... :D

Yes. It definitely isn't. Not handling the data properly for the Charts.

No use unless you see someone around urs got a CC or DD enchased notification. 14 ~ 25 working days is a standard procedure in Canada to hold foreign payments. Our bank will only know ONCE this period is over.

Hello all,

Does anyone know whether CIC would inform us (say by email), when Dexter receives the applications?

Best

@ joe07 (p419): Thank you brother. I agree with you that giving false hope through wrong information is harmful but still people do tend to speculate for self assurance. Not everybody enjoys a "Plan B: Canada" situation. Anyways what we need here is that responses by admins and senior experienced members be backed by authentic references and it is the responsibility of the seeker to ask for that. I am afraid I feel that you also being experienced with the process haven't done much to help the hopefuls here. Help is a positive way rather that complaining about speculations. Put your experience on the table. Just be the change that u want to see around and let the others follow your example.

@jigzyy (p419): Bravo mate! the new additions are awesome, especially the Country overview! I suggest that the CIC chart be a stacked bar chart. With each NOC be represented by pair of stacked bars. One bar representing CIC updated application no. and second column no. of applicants of this forum.

@Adrenalineforu: Im cool bro. Didnt meant to rock the boat here!

Guys just got hold of 2011 discussion forum....
I was reading the cap updates by CIC and got info on pages 23, 31, 44, 57, 61, 72 and so on for 2011 cap update.

In 2011, CIC updated cap on:
21-Jul-2011
27-Jul-2011
29-Jul-2011
2-Aug-2011
3-Aug-2011
4-Aug-2011

8-Aug-2011
9-Aug-2011
10-Aug-2011

and so on.....

Here we can see that cap update happened more than once in a week. :o

HERE IS D LINK-->
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/july-01-2011-fsw-applicantsmi-3-t74992.1065.html

I am expecting more CAP updates this week which might clear the picture over the date upto which CIC have processed the applications.

can we see the NOC status by date

like 4 May 10 application in NOC 022, graphical view

this way for all noc? so that we understand how the ppl in this forum have applied!
