The current cap update shows which date they have completed the work on the application received? Some people said May 9th in this thread, and how do you figure out this?

I made a guess on may 9th because according to the spreadsheet there is 1 applicant (rvragan) in NOC 3211 whose application was rec'd on may 9th (thats what i thought) and compared it to CIC update. However according to Jigzy the applicant is from June..so my assumption is wrong.

How can i input my application in google spreadsheet? because all edit options are not working when i sign in?

Put the info here in green (check the previous few pages for the format), admin will input it for you.

Guys..here is my "speculation" :) ...

Do not go by these update numbers of first 2/3 days - do not extrapolate this rate of applications and kill yourself.
The first rush is of people with close proximity to Canada and USA - BUT THESE ARE NOT MAJOR PIECE OF PIE. The majority of applicants are from remote places like India/China. That load has yet to hit - mostly will start from May10th applications onwards. So, the ride is going to be ..

May 4th - 6th - Big numbers of early early birds - accumulated applications but mostly from Canada/USA.
Then.. a Lull...the application rate will drop here..
And you see a surge from May 10th - applications from all over the world.. and that one is true yardstick to extrapolate from.

PS: Joe pl do not kill me.. I am in total agreement with you, just read my post few days ago and I was singing exact song..but just wanted to calm nerves for naive ones here..

Hey, you have a very true signature. I am exactly in the same situation as the stick man in that picture. I am now sitting on fire praying to the GOD, please save me one, I would be extremely lucky if I was the last person in "300" queue, 300 Spartan Warriors...

Thanks Joe.. yes, I get surprised when people talk about their life being finished if they can not make the 2013 cap. I am trying since 2010, have filed several times, tried several consultants, luck beat me so far - but I am here again. And my approach is, if I can not make this one, I roll up my sleeves and start gearing up for April 2014. And yes, I am 46 already.....So all those guys in 20s/30s..this one is not end of the road.

i am pre 2008 applicant ( applied 2006 ).. waited 7 years- got refund letter but didnt stop me from preparing for this NOC when i saw that my profile is match with the new NOC and now am applying again.. honestly am doing good in my home town holding a good profile in a public limited company... people would ask then why? well answer is that grass is always greener on the other side ( which with experience i know it never is )

i have a doubt...y is the destination place different for everyone, even between the people having the same NOC code?

It's just a personal preference of one to be at that location, however it is not compulsory to live and work there. Upon receiving a PR, an immigrant can live and work anywhere in Canada freely (except Quebec which has additional requirements to be fulfilled)
