Right after confirmation from my bank yesterday regarding about CC charge, the next thing I did, was checking the CIC for cap up-date. Reason seems to be self explanatory, bank told me that my CC got charged yesterday (Jun 20) at 5:40 PST (9:40 or 10:00 am Canada Time). They must have updated cap information earlier than that - as we can observe the bottom of that page showing date of 04 May 2013.
I feel, their cap update information is damn out-dated.

It sometimes takes around 1 week for payment to show up on the credit card. But available credit limit decreases right away after the payment is taken out. Did you notice any changes in your available credit limit sometime last week. May be CIC charged fee last week and you saw it only this week!

inadvertently, I used Generic Application Form IMM0008 with footer date of 12-2012.

Calll their call centre and ask for their complaints departments phone number and also for their managing directors office eail. cz if ur nt happy wth the compaint . you have the right to email the managing directors office,

Huang's info is almost true, I'm quite sure there are at least 2 people have already sent their applications to CIC including me in Mainland China now, the major problem for me is WES certifiction, which cost me alost 1 month to deal with it!
By some agents in Mainland China told me that there are more than 20 people have already sent their application last month, but don't know if it is 100% positive.

I envy those days with 500/1K Cap ... seems like born in a wrong time, too late for everything.

There is one question regarding the generic form we have filled

i.e. I have filled IMM0008(12-2012)E
which i think is old one.
The cic have updated generic form after 04-05-2013
which is IMM0008(04-2013)E
But
I have compared both the forms, both these seem exactly similar ,

Will it cause any problem ?

I think the note 1 (The number of complete federal skilled worker applications received as of May 4, 2013 is an estimate.) is not updated - I remember I saw it there before the cap was updated. Moreover 4 May was a Saturday and I don't think any applications can reach on Sat. Most likely the update is for 6 and 7 May.

Not trying to be rude, mate, but please DO try to go through a few pages before posting a question. We know the cap numbers have been updated, we know that the page says the status is "as of May 4, 2013", but we ASSUME that the numbers are actually for May 6 - 7.

This was the state of the page 1 week ago. You can actually see, that they replaced XXX with May 4, 2013, close to the bottom of the page:

What that date really means, we do not know yet. I think there is even a slight possibility, that they may have received applications from some "selected" agencies on that day, so some applications got stamped with May 4 date. And then comes everyone else, us, normal mortal people...

The next cap update will give us much more information.
