Hello guys,
Is there any chance of increasing the cap for hottest NOCs, has something like this ever happened before ?

I envy those days with 500/1K Cap ... seems like born in a wrong time, too late for everything.

Well, they can process 500 applications and no one will notice.

This was the state of the page 1 week ago. You can actually see, that they replaced XXX with May 4, 2013, close to the bottom of the page:

What that date really means, we do not know yet. I think there is even a slight possibility, that they may have received applications from some "selected" agencies on that day, so some applications got stamped with May 4 date. And then comes everyone else, us, normal mortal people... :)

The next cap update will give us much more information.

Hi Oszi,

Pardon my ignorance but what are these "selected" agencies?

Best

So many applications are pouring in !! , they should increase the cap if they have any kind of empathy.

Whoever knows how to get a "Complete, May 4, 2013" stamp on an application :)

Seriously? I do not know, I am just drawing conclusions from what I see on the website.

This thread is running so fast, getting it hard to keep up-to-date with the latest happenings...
I think this is the only charge on the CC, that people are eagerly waiting for :P

That makes two of us :)

The update on the CIC page might have been updated to reflect the date as 04 May, but the application count may not be directly updated on the page. Instead the details could be fetched from a database and displayed here. They can just update the database without modifying the webpage.

Thinking in a programmer way...:) ;D

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it.

So they take care to grab data from a database, and replace XXX with May 4, but then instead of getting it from the database also, they make the date static instead? Does not make sense to me...

I am ready to post some CC updates, my fingers have done their warm up exercises.............commence updates!!!!!!!!! :)

Actually I read somewhere in this forum that in previous years the cap was keyed in manually. Somebody found out because sometimes the cap numbers did not add up right :o, and computers could not get it wrong!

Anyway who knows how they operate this year.
