Surprised to see here that, people are behaving like if they are going to get some lottery id CIC will deduct money from their credit card. This is a real roller coaster ride started for the people who have applied. There will be a wait of 2-3 years now for getting a PR and after that nobody is waiting for you guys with a lollypop here. You need to struggle a lot here for gettiing jobs. So please wake up and think realistic. Dont lose your sleep for this PR application. You have now applied, so go and relax and concentrate on your work. Keep advising people as this will be a great help for new applicants.
Agree with what you are saying. But I also believe that everyone here knows the struggle involved to settle in Canada and for that matter any new country. well then why do they still want to come to Canada? People are motivate by different reasons. For some it could be a better life, some simply want a change, some want financial stability, some want to live in first nations and some are just following a trend.

Ultimately It is an individual choice. every country has its plus and minus. Sometimes, You just don't pick a country based on job prospects but overall bigger picture with better life promises. if you are qualified enough in your profession then even though with initial struggle you will make a living.

AD11 cell has wrong calculation in it. Also, AG9 should have value 4 in it. Otherwise this sheet is spectacular.

Actually I am just advising people to take it easy. Lot of people are too much anxious and restless over their PR application. If they worrying about this after applying , they will not be able to concentrate on their current work. So my suggestions is, forget this after applying and just keep helping others.

The anxiety and restlessness you see is to get an assurance of safely making it into the cap and not having file returned. CIC has done lot of last moment changes in the forms this year which made lot of ppl sent their applications with older forms.

Once this stage is passed, every one will take a sigh of relief as they know the whole process to get PR will take a year or two.

I know your intention was good but your previous post sounded kind a negative so had to clarify.

Arash, What I told you was just my OPINION, I provided you with a factual list. You can see from the spreadsheet here that NOCs 2147 and 2174 are hot Nocs, for you to go now and prepare a package to apply I do not think will be useful. I really believe that you will be too late and the Nocs will already be filled.

There is no "fast" way to get into Canada, you stated that you don't want to wait for 2 years, no one can guarantee that the route you take wont take 2 years. What is your current job, does it fall under skilled category A B or C?

I have been here for 5 months and i really can't wait 2 years for phd stream for some reasons. please advise me that what should i do? why you say don't apply for FSW? i need a fast way to apply for PR and i don't have too much money. What are the other ways that i could apply for them with this situation? I read the link you gave, and there in here:
cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-permit.asp
they said Academics and students don't need LMO, so does it mean that i just need a singed form by my supervisor for the job offer? should it be a full time or part time offer?
I don't know if my supervisor do that for me or not, i just want to see if it's possible and then try it. if you have any question please ask.

I guess a lot of the restlessness is due to the fact that CIC has not yet updated ANYTHING regarding the cap count...so no one basically knows what the hell is happening at their end. Once CIC will update the cap count...I guess the anxiety will quiet down a bit...hopefully :)
