I am sure that there are lot of people in the forum who have already submitted their applications but did not include themselves in the spreadsheet and are constantly monitoring the proceedings of this thread.
Thank you for bringing me outta the closet. I have stalked this place from Like 2 weeks back.:D Sometimes I felt like kicking some people over irrelevant and panicky questions. I submitted June 16. NOC 2263. Used a money order >:( so I can't know when I'll be charged.Hoping to get good news alongside everybody though it seems like they are still keeping mum so more applications can flood in

My NOC is 2145 Petroleum engineers
Its not easy to change again name on ID card.
Moreover the change is not onlysurname.
On old passport (for unmarried) they write fathers name: xxxx, on new(after marriage) they write husband name:xxxx
I am going to send new ID card, Marrigae certificate and old passport with a letter to explaun that due to passport problems in my home country it will tke 2-3 months to furnish her new passport with name change and i will send them a copy whenever its made.

I am hopefull it will be OK.

hi everyone. I've got some tricky questions. I'm a phd student in canada and i'm staying here with student visa and I've also job experiences in 2147 and 2174 . my supervisor is the manager of a company and has employed some of his students before. could you tell me if it's possible to ask him to give a job offer? is the job offer something special and it needs to be certified somewhere? or he can just simply write a job offer letter for me? does is need to be full time or a part time job is ok?
FYI, I have a good funding for my phd

WOW, arash, so you basically fit all three categories!!! If I were you I would forget about the FSW 2013 2147 & 2174 categories as I am sure these caps have been filled already. You are then left with applying under the PHD stream....this is if you have completed at least 2 years already or you can go for the arranged employment option. Yes your boss would need to do quite a few things in oder to give you a job offer. There are certain criteria's that must be met, but this may be the fastest option available to you right now.

See link below on getting a LMO (arranged Employment and Phd requirements.

2147 and 2174 are hot NOC. You are advised not to enter the game now for these NOC otherwise it is quite likely you may lose.

I have been here for 5 months and i really can't wait 2 years for phd stream for some reasons. please advise me that what should i do? why you say don't apply for FSW? i need a fast way to apply for PR and i don't have too much money. What are the other ways that i could apply for them with this situation? I read the link you gave, and there in here:
cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-permit.asp
they said Academics and students don't need LMO, so does it mean that i just need a singed form by my supervisor for the job offer? should it be a full time or part time offer?
I don't know if my supervisor do that for me or not, i just want to see if it's possible and then try it. if you have any question please ask.

Start: Check website -> check news releases-> check cic twitter - > check forums -> stalk jigzy's posts -> stalk posts of the cc applicants of 6th 7th 8th -> look for islandbabes posts-> QQ on the forumzz :'( -> back to start
:D

ROTFL :D

I Just saw something on the net - CAIPS notes and FOSS.(???) Apparently, you can get details /notes made on your files by CIC if you are in canada or have family there under the Freedom of Information Act (or something like that)
Who else has heard of it??

Its only when you case has begun processing and when u have been assigned UCI and application number,
hope it helps

Initially I was like that too. Whatever answers I needed in regards to my doubt were already answered somewhere on this forum and I wasn't sure about the tracker and needed some time to get involved.

I took my IELTS on 11th June 2011, so that makes us 3.

well, it's just that the timeline spread sheet would become more reliable with more participants actively involved.
Cheers :)

Hi, I checked the spreadsheet now and I see folks submitted the same week application opened. How did you do it? Did you school in Canada or ur institution must have been effective in verifying your result. Wish us all the best!
