The total intake should have been 10000 and 500 /NOC instead of the petty 5000 and 300/NOC respectively considering the fact that last year there was no FSWP. But finally it's upto the cic to decide about the desired NOC and the limit.balkanada said:Agreed. Maybe CIC is simply trying to get rid of the backlog of a few 100k people and they said - "ok, let's allow say... 5k of the new ones, just so that no one says that we stopped accepting".
On the other hand - those with job offers are safe from caps. It's not CIC's fault we don't have a job offer.
Speaking of that - does anyone know if self-sufficient people have any way at all to get into CA? Apart from investor/business visas.
