If your name is not there than it is not birth certificate.... Go at your village gram panchayat/district center and ask for English birth certy... Keep your gurati one with you for reference.... With nominal charges they will provide you english birth certificate...

There are two designated bodies, British Council and IDP Australia. You should have been registered by one of them.

There's no use in pursuing more to this case. We have already taken these tests and exactly know what are the instructions. It's a mistake on your part and you have to accept it :)

jigzyy, I have also taken this exam maybe more than you and I was doing so all the time. Listen to this, I called the BC call center and communicated to them what happened with me, they told me that after the CD play, its your time and its allowed to move between pages but maybe the instructor just wanted to make sure - for my benefit - that I am on the right track which he unintentionally made the opposite. I am to get this in written form from BC before I take it to another level :). The good thing is that no tension at all, Just want to prove the point.

No. You do not need to attach and fill this form.

As the thread is inactive for a while.

who can tell us how the Generic Application Form generates the barcode (in technical terms), is it after updating each field or only onclick of the validation button. and what are the sequences of updating the form and submitting it without clicking the validation button.

When you click validate and if everything is filled properly. You can try and practice, nothing's gonna happen to you:)

One should be very careful handling such dangerous forms. you are sure no explosions may happen? :P

after you click validate, it will generate the barcode: 10 bar codes for 5 pages. you need to be connected online and then hit print and save a copy to your computer for print later incase ;)

I just checked figures and numbers on the prepared spreed sheet and to be honest, I'm shocked. Regarding to these numbers for occupations like NOC 2147 and 2174 all the vacancies has been occupied in less than ten working days once they opened the doors.
Do you have any idea where these numbers are coming from?

Ok, take this assumption. you have validated the form and barcode has been generated. you then updated one of the date fields because day and month were reversed. you printed, signed and submitted the form without validating it. then what?

Hi Jigzyy

I joined the forum last week, thanks for the useful guidance... Yes, I understand everything has been mentioned on the CIC website but atleast in this forum we can discuss our confusions and get our possible mistakes rectified in time.

Regards

It has been discussed gazillion times that they have asked for copies. They have specifically mentioned in the checklist where they want copies, and even "ORIGINAL" is written next to the tick. Can't anyone just take a moment and check the checklist properly or what? ???

do you have to be connected online to validate...or can we validate on a standalone machine. In my case it did validate on a standalone machine (not connected to internet)...will it be a problem?

I dont think it will be an issue, Validate actually converts all your information into bar codes, then most probably CIC will have scanners like super markets and can grab all the information with one quick scan instead of reading whole forms.
