Haha! But do we really think there will be a cap update even if people have not be charged the processing fee? Highly unlikely.

Sure....Cap update and CC being charged are altogether two different processes, although for the same purpose....so chill and b +ve....:)

I do believe we could get a cap update even without members here getting their CC's charged, we are after all a small percentage of the overall applications, we don't know whats going on elsewhere. And I am pretty sure that by now at least 3, and possibly as much as 4 (spreadsheet stats says 5) caps may be presently filled.

All I know is that I understand why we are required to do a medical (physical) check but no psychological check is required for FWSP. To successful go through the process you must have nerves of steel and know how to progress through stressful situations, as well as cope with a high levels of anxiety :D :D

It's part of the checklist. ECA is required to let VO know what your education is going to worth in Canada, and documents are required as the part of the processing.

Has anybody got the PCC from U.S.A? I had stayed in U.S.A for more than six months. So i need to prepare PCC from U.S.A too. Does anybody know how to get and how long it will take to get PCC from U.S.A? I am not in U.S.A right now.

here is what i think, we are all aware that the rules applying to FSW this year is somewhat different to what applied in previous years so there are bound to be differences in when fees are cashed more so the processing time .
It is only reasonable to feel that CIC will check for completeness and errors on all forms and from there generate the Caps. I'm only saying what i think and stand to be corrected.
Again i want to believe CIC will do more this year than just checking the forms and cashing the fees, they might go as far as confirming the authenticity of the ECA and making sure claims of work experience tally with intended NOC so as to arrive at the specified Caps for each NOC to be processed, this process leaves the CHC with specific points calculation, background checks and random checks on the entire application. Again it's just my opinion and not quoting any source.

happy waiting :D

Agreed CIC this time can be a bit more retrospect than last year to chek the authencity of ECA and other documents just to make work of CHC more simpler.....but then what about applicants who have sent ther documents bit late ( by MAY end) who are worried they might have lost in on cap limit....
PS : My application reached CIC on 3rd June and under Noc 2174 i think tht might be bit late....in need of updates from CIC *sigh*

Google spreadsheets does not seem to recognize COUNTIFS. Are there any spreadsheet specialists that can tell us how to proceed?

Based on the doc someone attached previously, I've made a new EXAMPLE sheet here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmfayNaCseoKdHFGVGpFbzNQUFdXZmxrUkFmY214ZVE#gid=14

WARNING: this is not the live file for tracking applications, I'm just giving link here so jigzzy or someone can take my sheet and incorporate it into the official tracking doc if they want.

It gives the overview for each NOC through past days. It looks at the dates applications were received at CIC. I think you were looking for that (it resolves the missing COUNTIFS issue).

Thanks Adrenalineforu ! I have submitted the online form.

All the best for your application !!

Appreciate your help.

I'm not sure if you could fill the details of all passports on the website but at least you fill the latest one and carry both when you go to PSK. (Shouldn't the two passport numbers be same anyway? The renewed ones are in continuation of the expired one but I'm not sure!)

The documents required are against all that have changed in your passport. For ex. (and as was in my case) Marriage certificate/Annex D if your marital status has changed, address proof if your address has changed, name or date of birth change if any of those are different from what is mentioned on the passport. The doc requirement is not big or lengthy but I would recommend you go to the Document Advisory on the same link before proceeding. I can't say much but requirements keep changing from time to time and you should refer to the website for latest info.

Do not forget to carry a copy of ARN that is generated online.
Good luck.
