There is no ambiguity in IMM 7000 regarding every photo copy being notarised/certified. It clearly states that translations must go through this process and then explains how this process must be completed. Can't believe how it can be divided into 2 parts and assumed that every photocopy must be certified. Please try to find the line that says that you must certify every copy? How can an explanation of how translated copies must be certified is taken as a guidance to certify everything?

If you were so good and understood the requirements you wouldnt have been haggling with me and trying to prove your point. instead get yourself together and apply. whatever ways makes u happy and satisfied.
It wont help you if i cant differentiate between originals or notarized. your own efforts and understanding will help.
If you are sure that you need to notarize everything, please go ahead and do it.
I assume you have far better knowledge and understanding which would be quite helpful to me when i need it later on.
Good someone is here who can read it deep down and undesratnd unlike me who knows nothing.

Certification is required only for photocopies, not originals. If you sent the photocopies of your forms, then you should have gotten them notarized, haha.

So the bottom line is, if you can't even differentiate between an original and a photocopy, then there is no point getting ourselves entangled into this debate.

and dont worry shehzad, I notarized the originals as stated earlier. I didnt leave it to chance. i didnt make a photocopy. I notarized the original.

What do they mean exactly by this..do they mean signing the forms where they have spaces for signatures and dates or do we have to sign the whole package...a bit ambiguous...I only signed where it was required on the forms and nowhere else..I hope I didnt screw it here. my application is on its way...

You and your dependent applicants sign on the space provided. You can't just sign anywhere and everywhere you feel like. It's only the designated locations where the signatures and dates need to be.

BUT if you read it in the guide in the link i attached, its very confusing,

"Application must be signed and dated........"(do we have to sign the envelope, do we have to attach a cover letter and sign it for the application etc) ...Anyways I signed only in the spaces provided...I think thats all what it meant

Yes, it only meant that. You did right, don't worry. Confusions arise out of our own state of mind and when facts are overdone such that they eventually turn into a doubt.

Forgive me. I will not argue further on the point of Certified or photocopied document, as it will be a never ending argument. I will instead allow CIC to have the "last word". When we see persons getting their CC charged and later on getting PER, we can see whether persons who sent copies are among those receiving such news. Then all will be clear. All the best.

My cousin applied in 2011 for FSW. When CIC charged his CC, he received a call from his bank that there is a transaction of CAD$1400 on his CC by CIO. They asked him if he recognizes this payment and has authroized it...his reply was yes and that's it.....and payment was okay...

Does anyone have any idea of the caps filled for FSW ? I am about to hire a Canadian Immigration lawyer to prepare my application.. Havent done with the Educational Credentials yet (Need to get my transcripts from the University) . I might be able to send my application by June end. Would it be too late for NOC 2174??
