Agreed. Don't over do it. IF you have translated any document, notarize that and the copy of the original. No need for all. Just send it tomorrow. Sunday, no courier will accept and you'll loose another day, instead submit tomorrow and it'll reach Tuesday if you use UPS. DHL / FedEx will delivery it Thursday.

Hi buddy, pls look at the link here, there is a similar table for 2011 applicants in china, u can see the quickest cc charged at 7/20, 16 days After submission. u don't have to know Chinese to understand the table. ;D

So it is quite strange that nobody report so far for their cc or bd, as long as the cap is easily reached and CIC should have less workload in the first week because WES delay a lot more ppl.
I guess, maybe they delay to announce the cap number just because they want to announce after they have finished counting 300 completed packages.
But yes it still cannot explain why nobody get cc charged. I guess, again, maybe they want to get a huge batch to be processed one time? Say, 300 NOC 1112/2174/2147 each to be processed same day in the bank? Haha ;D

we're all assuming that cic started working on the apps on May 4, what if they're just receiving applications and scheduled to start working on them after they complete some other program. Pls note that FSW program is not the most important program for them these days. I guess this will explain all the delays charging fees or updating cap numbers.

Man.. just do it as in India it will not take much time and also not cost you that much..... It will not leave any doubt in mind of officer who is checking the docs ......

It is true that LVO can ask for originals but why we have to give them such chance to lengthen our file execution... Notarized photo copies will be as equal to originals.. And same is suggested by almost all consultants...

Does anyone know how the cap of 300 will be counted . would it be eligible applications and the final Visas approved or the applications received by CIC ? Please throw some light on this cap count ?

It would be the first 300 that have filled out the form correctly, signed where required and have all the required documents. all has been stated earlier in forum. I always advise new members "if possible" read the last 50 pages of a forum. It can be quite informative and useful.

I am waiting for my IELTS score and havent yet my transcripts ready.. I fear I have missed the bus for this year for NOC 2174 ...Or Can I still make it ? Please suggest.

Rightly said. it is better to notarize all photocopies.

Even the applicant whose file reached on the 6th of May worries that they missed the bus. However if you really have not even started your expensive evaluation process yet and are awaiting IELTS, you may really have missed the bus.

HOWEVER ECA is valid for 5 years...and they can take a while....so maybe you can get a head start on next year???? And there is no cap for arranged employment applicants.

All those who are still in the process of completing/sending the apps, put your 100% into it. When you could do 80%, why leave the remaining 20%. That 20% is often what forfeits the remaining 80%. Heard of Pareto's 80/20 rule? 80% of the problems are caused by 20% of the root cause. (well this is the modified Pareto law )
