Isn't strange that nobody in this forum has ever reported that their cc is charged? In 2011, the quickest one is July 20, which is 13th working day after the door is open. Now 15 working day already.
unless a lot of people Mail CIC , I get the feeling CIC will not update the cap count. IF the immigrants themselves dont show proper interest in following up why should they care to update information ... :'(

Added Alta :) The courier did not state who received your application???

If the percentage has been told by the lawyer, than I am afraid, he just bragged about it to get your attention [and score you as a client :)]. I could agree for around 15-30%. But 85% is very high.

I agree ;D...consultant/lawyer firm's only selling point I have heard is this....complete document.....if any thing is missing they will return....you can do it urself and take the risk..bla bla bla. Yes. 15-30% sounds an acceptable number. Most of the people in the FSW track are genuinely highly qualified and they know how to read English instructions and fill up forms. That's my opinion.

Dont know how mailing will help, but I do want to know whether my application was in time, payment is taken or my form were complete. As i have several other things lined up, .

Question: My app was received on 17th may, still waiting to hear from cic like every one else. can i change job in next 4 weeks time, will the cap statues be released by then?
or shall i give CIC some more time ;D

You can change your job anytime and you should not depend your decisions on Canada Immigration. They have their own time and same way you have your own decision to be taken

After changing the job and AFTER getting reply from CIC (positive PER) , you can inform them about your change of job

One of the best law firms in Canada is Greens and Spiegals, and their web site is www.gands.com. if they take your case then you have very very good chance of getting PR.

Applications submitted upto now

I have read somewhere in this forum that database maintained here (for 2011 or other year), is 2.5% of the total applications submitted globally. Do you think this number (2.5%) is lower or higher this year?

Due to growing popularity of this forum it may be higher (>2,5%) in 2013
Due to time constraints and people are busy preparing and submitting applications, it can be lower (<2,5%)

I would like to know your thoughts:)

This time ECA is major bottleneck, WES, a popular ECA agency, initially (for 10 days appx) allowed quick service i.e. Rush in service for 1 day and 3 days but now they have shut those doors and people are struggling to get ECA. Those are lucky who got their ECA done before 4th May. This time things are totally different, they are changing the process to assess all the files.

This time defiantly we can break the record of 2011 in percentage wise.... As overall cap limit is also reduced by 50%... This time due to ECA flow of ppl are moderate but consistence...it will double the percentage this time...
