Dear friends,
I am new to this forum.
I want to apply under noc:0211
I have got foreign currency demand draft of CAD1250 from state bank of patiala, India
My questions are :

For how many months this DD is valid,as nothing is mentioned on the DD,
bank staff is not sure wether its validity is for six months or three months?

This DD is hand written i.e. not typed, will it cause any problem?

thanks

No problem !!

Foreign currency DD is written by hand (atleast SBI.. so might be same for their associated banks) ... validity Not mentioned on face of DD.. means it will work in your favour :)

I just called CIC and asked them for cap update. I also told them that last year cap update did not happen for 2 months and so many people wasted time and energy collecting docs etc while cap had been reached long time back. The girl understood my point and suggested that we should write directly to the minister for immigration and the link for the same is on CIC website.

Hello everyone, some more queries:

It's regarding the employment letter of recommendation:

1. Does the recommendation letter have to be back dated to the time the person just left the job or can it be written in today's date for a past employment?
2. Do we need to include pay stubs or only appointment letters would be sufficient?
3. Is it mandatory to attach the visiting card of the employer writing the recommendation?

Thanks

Sonia,
keep it simple. the more simple u keep better chances, at this moment only provide them whats mandatory. keep the optional stuff with your self. if they need it , they will ask for it.
make sure the reference letter adheres to the norms they want it.this is very important. the role, responsibilities, the dates u worked ,salary. and the person signing it on a company letter head.
pay stubs and other stuffs are optional.
hope it helps. Im not an immigration consultant.but using my knowledge ,others can also input their ideas and thoughts in this.
