We are all waiting for the first cap count report. at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
If you are not applying to the hottest NOCs (2174,1112,2147), you shouldn't worry too much.

In general CIC has became more sophisticated since last year transition. Jason Kenney puts tremendous pressure on divisions now so they need closely monitor on what they officially announced and did. Updating online result may look like a easy procedure but actually it is a very tricky one so they have to be very careful about that.

This year's applications will get processed not only a bit faster but stricter. CIC has set up a more clear target now for what they want to achieve in next 2-3 years.

I sent my package on 7th and my status on DHL just got updated to "With Delivery Courier".....these DHL people f**** me over!!!!! You sent your package on 8th and it got delivered this morning.......and mine hasnt been delivered yet......What courier did u use???
Similarly, in 2011 I had missed the 500 cap by a few hours........ this is what I call fate!!!

I would sue DHL if I miss the cap coz of them...ahahah!!!! i'm stressing out so much....

Are they showing any location with the status "with delivery courier". Mine is still saying sent for delivery to facility centre from Ontario

I believe i will not be able to make it.. my docs are still with courier also.

Right..they started by uploading the new generic form on 4 May night which totally contradicted what they said on the website.

If they indeed updated Imm0008 on the night of the 4th of May, then they will accept old Imm0008.

Oh such a waste if both forms are accepted then why bother updating the little footnote? Something tricky? It sounds like you know so much insider info about CIC (I guess so based on your ID and your previous posts), can you check with them and confirm this? even better if they update a little note on their website..lots of applicants will much appreciate it.

I am hoping it will be updated later today. That is 14 hours away from Sydney, Nova Scotia.
FedEx told me it should be delivered Wednesday.

ok this is funny .... 1-888-242‑2100 is only for people local to canada.
the number +1 613 944 4000 is a US center which then diverts the call to canada and then the call ends by message. this call is not available in your area.

So any one with any ideas on how i can inquire about the status?
