For those who mailed applications on May 4th, which Generic form did you use? Coz as per my knowledge, Generic Form IMM0008 was updated on Saturday evening (which is odd as they should have updated that on Fri).

CIC has updated their page to show the respective number of applicants received in each area.....thus far they have not yet started to count........

Nicely done spreadsheet. And the extra stats look interesting as well. So far 24 out of 46 applicants here are for the two computing NOCs (programmers and engineers - 2174 and 2147).

This means if this is a presentative spread that around 52% of applications received will be for these 2 NOCs alone. When I was an administrator on the June 2010 (MI2) spreadsheet I think we worked out that our forum members made up around 2.5% of the total applications received by CIC. This means that multiply our numbers by 40 and you'd get an approximation of the number CIC actually received.

It we used the same formula this would mean 2174 would have had around 560 applications (260 over the cap) and 2147 would have around 400 applications (100 over the cap) "brewing" already.

Although, of course, some of these will be waiting on WES etc.


It's certainly looking like 1112, 2147 and 2174 may be filled in a matter of weeks. Possibly a matter of days!
