My application was received on July 10th, but I have not received any email from CIO yet. Most people receive within a week. It's almost 10 days for me and I'm worried if my application is returned.

week Man, you seriously need to check the Spreadsheet again. They are hearing in about 60 days :s You are only 50 days early

That's what other users wrote in here. So how can I find out if my application is filed or not? I guess we really need to prepare a FAQ and everyone contribute to it

Sorry, I was just testing the water to see if we could play a small game...

Anyway, I hope I have been charged as my credit limit as gone down over last 2 hours. However, I cannot tell for sure until it clears (possibly Monday or Tuesday). I have also spoken to the credit card provider but the name is not on their system yet.

So it could be a potential CC charge but I would avoid calling it that so as to not jinx it. But I shall keep you all updated

I would like to thank the admins for all their hard work and wish luck to the new ones coming on board. I feel CIC have increased their speed this week and we could be hearing a lot of CC charges/PER over the next few days and weeks. Keep up the good work

Hey IslandBabe, No news as of now...i used a canadian bank's credit card for the payment. So any charge would be reflected instantly but none so far. I am slightly starting to believe it's all over for me. Nevertheless it makes me happy that the cap is still open and most of the deserving forumites who applied after me are still in the game. I do not want anyone to go through this massive disappointment which i am going through now. But hey, that's life isn't it...
