for past work experiences CIC is not asking original , hope this helps to people.

I doubt if work experience should be also sent in original..As per my lawyer notarized photo copies are ok..And logically also How can you sent original work experience letter to CIC as you will only get one copy from most of the employers? If CIC rejected and due to some reason they have not returned your app then it will be a big trouble for the applicant..Correct me If I am wrong..

Hi Guys,,, Need urgent help.. Transaction cancelled on Credit Card

My file was received on May 13th. I am from India and have given the credit card details of SBI while submitting my file and today I got the message that an international transaction of 65k was not completed. When I contacted SBI help desk, they said there are some new RBI guidelines that, even if international transactions were initially active on ur account, you still need to reactivate them. I surfed and found as per new guidelines from RBI

"The Reserve Bank said that a monetary limit of USD 500 be imposed by issuing bank on all global cards which has not been used in the past.

“All the active magstripe international cards issued by banks should have threshold limit for international usage. The threshold should be determined by the banks based on the risk profile of the customer and accepted by the customer by June 30,”"

I have called SBI guys and they say it will take at least a day or two to set ur international transaction limit. I am too much worried now..

So, now what options I have? What can I do? Is there any way to contact CIO or some other way around?

Anyway, You should have kept an eye on the new guidelines or at least have asked the Bank to not to reject x amount from x organization as most of the applicants are doing here. CIC might try couple of times more to see if it can pass thru BUT it is not known if they will do it today or monday. Monday will save you, retries today will land you in trouble.

You need to be in your bank , sitting in front of your banker , at this exact moment! CIC may try a few more times today....So timing is everything, act quickly or you may lose your chance, if you haven't already.

Yes.....people are PM'ing ma and from the forum, guys its not time for panic mode just yet........persons in 2174 have been charged up to MAy 13th and 14th. Guess it was just the lack of action in this Noc group by CIC that spooked people.

I don't blame them. The lack of updates by CIC is making it worse. We haven't submitted either, hopefully by next week. Fingers crossed. Or is 2132 also a hot NOC.

This is sad..But as Jigzyy said contact your bank and try to set the limit..

This really shows how may silent stalkers are visiting the forum and not contributing and helping other group members. Now-days I am seeing more cases when people will only pop up once they face problem or else just be silent.

Common guys join and make this thread and spreadsheet more relevant and help full to others.If you help others then people will be more willing to help you as well..Just my thought

I guess he can't. Banking timings should have been over few hours ago in India. The only thing he could do is to keep on phone with Customer Services.

Hi Mamobee, you NOC isn't 'Hot" but is pretty pretty warm, with alot of applicants submitting already. Go ahead and submit your file though....nothing to lose but the courier fee, it you don't submit you may also wonder...."What if...."

Strange..some people don't mind to send all their personal information, family and work history, credit card numbers, copies of all their important documents, all their paper identity to another side of the earth...and don't care who will see it and how can use it.

and at the same time...
so afraid to anonymously contribute small unidentified pieces of information about their application in order to help fellow applicants to figure out their chances.
