Hi all

Please help me know how many of may/june 2013 applicants who applied for their GCMS notes and are still waiting to hear from LVO after the PER ? ..................... No interview call, no medical request. I am just drawing an analysis, if applying for GCMS can expedite the process. So far what I know the majority of those who applied for GCMS had quick processing compared with others. May be CIC officials take it as if those with GCMS have the inside information on their process and can use this info to pursue their cases having links in canada .................. ? wrong thought ?

Hi, You might get a quicker response from the LVO thread here:

I need help regarding my Australia PCC. I got them last year and use thrm in fsw13 but my file return first due to payment error and secondly due to cap filled. i used them for my fsw 14 application but they were 1 year old... Do i need to resubmit them on later stage or its fine because i never visit Austrslia after 2011 and PCC issued in 2013. And what is best time to start preparing for new one...

Hi Guys,

For those of you who have queries regarding PCC, this is what NDVO wrote to me in the MR, PCC, PP email:

Finally, you are required to provide the following additional supporting documents, if they have not already been submitted.
 Police Clearance Certificate(s): From each country where anyone in the following list has resided for six months or longer since the age of 18: the principal applicant spouse or common-law partner (whether they are accompanying or not) each dependent child over the age of 18 years (whether they are accompanying or not)
The Police Clearance Certificate from the country where you are currently residing must be no more than 12 months old. The Police Clearance Certificate from any country where you no longer reside must be issued after your departure from that country or no more than six months before your departure.
Please follow the instructions at following website: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

Hope this helps!!

I read somewhere today that once we pay RPRF fees online, we have to fill the receipt, scan and then send it via email to CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca

Is this a common procedure for all VO's?

Please advise!

This reply is for FSWP Candidate....

Sweep your Mail box bro, its full. So I am replying here.

Hi FSWP,

ICICI bank has local presence here in Canada. So I am not sure abt their draft is valid in other bank or not.
Dont go to Scotia bank for draft, they probably want you to open an account first. That's not wise.

In my case, I paid money to Paul Merchant. They provided me a bank draft issued by HDFC bank. The draft paper had HDFC bank written on top and Scotia bank written on side. It was in CAD and looked very canadian style.

So i believe they operate in connection with Scotia bank. Now once the draft is payable at Canada, means you can deposit it in any bank. I deposited my draft in Royal Bank RBC. And it worked well.

So If you have access to Paul Merchant type company, they will offer you the best deal in terms of forex prices and lowest charges. Direct deal with bank might be a bit expensive.

If you dont have any access to such firms, try with HDFC bank , they would probably give you this type of draft as they have no local presence here and so they have the tie-up with Scotia bank.

I could have send you scan copy of my draft if i had it but I just used it without scanning it.

Regards,

Javiya

No each VO handles if differently, some can pay online, other cant, some have to pay at the bank and send the receipt to the Vo etc.
