Got a status change to "We Started Processing your application on February 11, 2014".

Waiting for the medicals mail.

Can anyone please tell me... after how many days the second third line for "Medicals Received" would be added after doing the medicals?

As Ii mentioned in my earlier post that i got UCI number when i called CIC..this was the UCI generated for my returned application..i am trying to enter the same in ECas but it doesn't recognize either the old application status nor the new one send to CIC.. would appreciate if someone can throw light ...

Probably they are going to use the same UCI. Maybe washed the previous information first.
Anyways, you can try giving a call to CIC itself for this.

I wouldn't recommend you to send any updated info or doc to VO until your file is reached there. Since NDVO is sending AOR to applicants therefore you should wait for your AOR. If you send your updated info or doc to NDVO before AOR, it is highly likely that your doc will be lost.

I have obtained reference letter for one of my previous company from my previous manager
Recently he changed his job and moved to overseas, obviously his contact details will change
Along with my application, I provided his previous company contact details
Now I would like to update his contact details (his new company mail id and phone numbers)since he was signed and sealed for my reference letter on company letter head.

I received PER on 07 Feb 2014, based on previous trend it is evident that
AOR will receive from some VOs after one month.
Shall I wait till AOR mail and then update local VO?
or shall I send now itself

Hi Joe,

A friend of mine had the same problem. His application was returned due to cap reached with the UCI number. He resent his application under another category in which he has the experience but he was not able to track his application with the old UCI number... Your application reached on Jan 10th... So I suggest you to wait until you receive your fee gets charge or you receive PER...

Dear joe

UCI number remains same though your application was returned previously however as you applied on 10/01 your file might not have been reviewed by officer so it is not updated in ecas

for retured old application except UCI no. nothing is updated in ecas after your CC charge or PER ecas will identify with same old UCI

2> PCC - Is there a time frame that needs to be asked for ? like 10 year or from 18 years onwards

Because as per the police office they are saying PCC will be issue for the time of stay in a specific location ONLY.

I was thinking that the way we helped each other in this thread can be continued even after landing....As most of us will be landing in March/April/May 2014...we can form groups of persons having common destination and time of landing...we can share our numbers,mail ID etc...can plan landing together, can help each other in Canada(searching accommodation, getting driving license,job searching)...can even share accommodation initially....this will be very useful specially for the persons who don't have any relative or friends in Canada....So what you say....

person who age is above 18 years and lives more than 6 months in any countries than send all pccs of that countries.

i think when u will get PER mail then u will be able to see ur ECAS status by using ur UCI number.not before that

Which place in India do you live, coz it took almost 8 days to get back your passports from NDVO after DM. I am awaitng my passports now after DM updation on 15th Feb. Keeping my fingers crossed.
