URGENT ADVICE REQUIRED ::

I got my UK work visa & I am expected to travel this weekend to UK from India. Please help answering the following:

1. How can I send the passport from UK to India/NDVO?
2. How will I get my passport back from NDVO to UK?

Of course, I will communicate to NDVO about my travel plan and actual travel. What else should I do?

I was thinking that the way we helped each other in this thread can be continued even after landing....As most of us will be landing in March/April/May 2014...we can form groups of persons having common destination and time of landing...we can share our numbers,mail ID etc...can plan landing together, can help each other in Canada(searching accommodation, getting driving license,job searching)...can even share accommodation initially....this will be very useful specially for the persons who don't have any relative or friends in Canada....So what you say....

My ECAS status is updated as " started processing application on 6th of january 2014". till now i didn`t recieve medical request. i submitted pcc from uk and India with the initial application. application filed on 5th of june 2013. I am so nervous about medical request. could any one share reasons for this delay.

Dear it is not advisable to live without passport in foreign countries. may be you will be in trouble without ppt.
raise your query to NDVO or LVO how to send ppt while you are in UK.

Back again after a long time.. So nice to see that many forum mates have already received the visa and started their new journey in life...

So here is the update from my side...Got married and sent the updated documents to NDVO... Received the MR/PPR & landing fees request for my spouse on 1st Feb'14. They took exactly 6 weeks for this entire process from the date of sending

Have submitted them on 6th Feb '14... Waiting now to join the league of "DM"

BTW..any idea how NDVO send back the passport... If it is through registered post how long it take for delivery within NCR ?

Yes, you are right points are calculated before allotting PER.... But this happened at the time of the final review.... See the message from the applicant below....

once you will get DM status in ECAS, in a week you will get ppr, copr and additional docs through registered post.

As Ii mentioned in my earlier post that i got UCI number when i called CIC..this was the UCI generated for my returned application..i am trying to enter the same in ECas but it doesn't recognize either the old application status nor the new one send to CIC.. would appreciate if someone can throw light ...
