Can I just mention that the people on this forum are naturally optimistic (or naive in plain terms). How can anyone expect so many applications to be lodged on the 6th? If the new schedule 3 came out on the 4th, it is very hard for even the applicants based in canada to get their apps to CIO by 6th May. The fact that 26 apps still made it to CIO on the 6th (and 13 in NOC 1112), I cannot imagine the magnitude of apps that CIO must have received in the following days. Yes, we should all hope for the best but I am trying to be realistic. As in the past, the hot NOCs must have filled in the 1st week or 2nd week (if we try to be positive).

Is it after they charge the CC/BD or before? So, if they are saying there are 13 complete applications received in NOC 1112. Does this mean that 13 CC/BD have been charged already or yet to be charged?

Any idea?

I believe they would charge the CC before they update the cap status. Of course I don't know for sure but I have read the FSW manual about 50 times in the last month and that's what I got from it. I don't know about the frequency of the cap count.

Yes balkanada, I have 0 doubt that for 2174 and 2147 for FSW 2013, the assumption made by seniors in forum (5-10% of global apps) is wrong. We'll see soon. It's more than that for sure. So be logically and practically positive and calm yet active

No, you don't have to, but in the case a VO becomes suspicious and asks for further proof, you'll be like :'( and they'll be like 8)
In all this time I promise you I'll be like ;D So in short to answer you: Your choice.

Anyway, UPS says my parcel is in Kentucky right now, so I already see it tomorrow at CIC and from all that I saw here and at CIC, I'm pretty sure that even the 2174 cap is not filled yet. So I'm one happy camper!

And I'm definitely sure that anyone who's app was received in May can just comely lay down and start sipping some relaxant of their own choice. I was thinking from the start that our Google sheet will make 20% or more of total apps for 2174 and it looks like that's going to be close. And if so - the game's still on!

Incase the cic update is only for the completed Application received until 06-may then out of the 26 received applications we dont have even a single received application in our spreadsheet for that date which means the global figures are quite high.

lol...I like your thinking! Btw, do a lot of people live in nova scotia? Google maps shows me a lot of "white space" which makes me think this place is full of snow 6-9 months of the year!

No, we have not received any responses from CIO yet except for the first automatic reply.., so I hope Eastwest bank also opens your card only for Canada. Thefts are unlikely to use our cards in Canada or Canadian web sites. Fortunately, my card have not been used fraudulently so far

1112 has more then 2174

I believe now, cause I see another 1112 on Chinese forum get her cc charged on june 20 th, beside "theraven" who i told u guys that his ccis charged on jun 18 th. her application also reached at may 8th. But so far I did not hear any news on 2147/2174 in Chinese forum.

As of this morning i have seen 4 ppl whose application arrived at may 8 th get their cc charged. 1 in June 18, 1 in June 19, 2 in June 20. among them 2 are 1112, 1 is 2131, 1 is 2147.
So it is not surprise that 1112 will be the hottest NOC.
It also means there are a lots more applications in may 8 th thus CIC cannot finish their checking at same day, it took them at least 3 or mo days to proceed the cc/dd for those completed applications.

Admin can we also record the actual application received on cic website so as to compare the trend?
I do believe the 26 on CIC is only those application arrived at may 6 or 7 th, cause Farhan's 2131 is 0 while he get his cc charged.
So we can expect a surprising number in next update cause may 8 th is definitely a big day!

Well I guess 1112 being more hotter than 2147/2174 is that it is somehow in line with last years 1111 or 0111 NOC's, whereas 2147/2174 are completely new this year. But surprisingly it is almost half to 1112 :s.

Yes for sure, next Thu might be the dealbreaker OR deal sealer for many on this forum.

I believe the Cap for the 1112 [with this pace] will get filled around 2nd weeks mid of May. The update is for sure for the first two working days, and the next will definitely include up to at least May 10th update [IF we got any CC charged from May 10th].
