i think those who were rejected didn't had their father/mother name on the 10th certificate...please check....

it depends totally on luck...some were rejected for lack of bc, though they had submitted genuine bc....as far as i know, if u have name of your one parent on your 10th cert, then it will be accepted....

Heard background verification is going on in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar for 3142 NOC. One person informed in the physio's whatsapp group...Got surprised as the verification is done after MR/RPRF/PP submission.

Just want to know forum members view if they usually check only the current employer or previous ones.In my case my wife has shown experience for last employment and at the time of filing the application, I wrote homemaker as it was difficult to get exp. letter from the current one.

So technically she is unemployed from last two years.

Any comments??

I also heard the same news about background varification going on in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and that too after MR/PP/RPRF submission. This is very shocking. I think this is for the first time they are doing physical inquiries.

If any one having more information on the same please share. Any idea how many BCs done today and if they are going to conduct more for any other category?

I'm 27th May applicant in NOC 2147. As I was very busy on projects during past couple of months I missed a lot of useful information posted by you.

As I also checked our colorful tracking spreadsheet, I understood that there were a lot of lucky guys who received MR's and Visas during past months.
Congrats to all of those who have finished the immigration process and wishing all others the best of luck on this way.

I was trying to contact CIC over telephone through this number: +1-888-2422100. I tried this months ago when I was waiting to received PER and they helped me to receive updates. Unfortunately I have not received any correspondence from CIC or Visa offices after 12th August.

When I try the number mentioned above I hear the following message: "YOUR CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED. PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER AND DIAL AGAIN"

Can someone please advise on a solution/alternative number ?
