Don't know my fate yet , but looks like Canada will be a dream...as mentioned earlier my waiting continues... applied in 2006.. application sent back (backlog).. applied in 2013 ..file sent on may 20th 2013.. file returned ... now the story starts yesterday when i called CIC to find out the new status of my application which was resend ( applied January 2014 )..

Initial application send - May 2013
Application received at CIO - 29th august ( weird )
Application return to the consultant - 5th November
Document i got in my hand - December 12th

Consultant gave my documents and didnt provide me with UCI ( re-applied without UCI )-- only yesterday i got to know my UCI after calling CIC

My consultant took me for a ride...

now that i have re applied - SELF don't trust any of the ****** consultants ..

its been 8 years .............. looking for a light at the end of the tunnel.....

I really hope some miracle happens in my case

As I came to know from one of the forumites that someone got CC charged for application reached on 6th Jan.2014....so u can count the no. of days with respect to the other applications....probably by 20th feb.

Application Date : 25Oct2013
PER on 13th Jan 2014 & AOR on 29 Jan 2014.

So you can expect the AOR by 10 to 15 Feb 2014.

Hi Guys,

I received Medicals & PPR is on 27th Nov 2013, NDVO received Passports on 2nd Dec 2013, spent 66 days of waiting after sending the passports no DM yet..............
For applying my kids passport I changed my passport to endorse my spouse name, so while sending the passports to NDVO is send my old and new passport along with Spouse and Kids Passport – Will this be the reason for Delay............Can I raise CSE? OR is it too early to do so?Your views are much appreciated

Mine is very similar story..Applied first PR first in 2006.. file returned becuse of backlog clearence.. and then i did not have my NOC category enlisted for PR and also could not opt for PNP as conultant didn't inform tmely and nor even educated us. And then applied again in 2013 when NOC was included....this time withou any help fom consultant and took all help from the guide of cic and my father to get the docs prepared. Luckily i am in this time and waiting for DM ..Just to add had even tried student visa around 2003 that time too via consultant and was rejected...

My query was for interim period only till we get health card.....

Not before, it is after landing.

After landing you enroll for medical insurance and in places like Toronto, there is a waiting period. In the interim you will need to go for private insurance.
