I have sent all my docs (MR Receipts, PCC, RPRF and Passports ) to NDVO on 25th Jan by Blue Dart, and the same are received at NDVO today at 9.30 am in the morning. Moderators, please update my info.

Now the final waiting for the passports with the visa stamping on it, starts.

Dear friends
I applied under 0211 NOC and my application was received at CIO sydney on dated 25/09/2013. Cap was reached with applications received upto 14/7/2013 as is evident from tracking sheets on google , but till date i have received no information and no package back from CIO.
What to do? seniors please advice

No you dont need to send all your degrees. All u need is your highest degree and that is exactly what i did. I only sent my Masters degree for evaluation and in the evaluation, WES stated that a Bachelors degree was the requirement for admission into the Masters degree program. This alone shows that i have the Bachelors.

Are you sure about this? I think all the educational certificates after Higher secondary should be done with ECA. As you well know it is because CIC wants to make sure whether the college from where the candidate has done his/her course is recognized or not. In India Universities or colleges that falling under UGC (University Grands Commission) is only given the same Canadian equivalency by WES or ICAS comparing to that in the home country. Where as colleges falling under AICTE or other recognition bodies is considered as "non recognised" even though AIU (Association of Indian Universities) grand equivalency to masters or bachelors degree for many good colleges that falling under AICTE. But by mistake WES always keep those colleges under non recognized as becoz the recognition body of these colleges are not UGC. So WES wants to make sure whether your university is under UGC or AICTE or some other bodies before they assess the certificates. For this they require the entire certificates after the higher secondary and the same is mentioned in WES website. I don't know about the process WES do it for other countries. But I am well aware of the Indian scenario.

So I suggest if the applicant is from India it is better to do ECA evaluation for all the degrees after higher secondary. He can leave the diploma if it is less than 1 year duration....

It is a good idea to take a look at the forum spreadsheet. You can see information there on different reasons for rejection from rejected applicants. But, anyway, you can see yours only when get the package back.

I dont have Date of Birth Certificate. I had only 10th or Secondary certificate to show my proof of ID.
The reason I was born on 1981. I am from India. Still 10th or DOB on Passport is valid to show them the Proof for DOB for my wife and myself. As my daughter is having her DOB certificate and Passport. help me

School certificate showing your date of birth is acceptable to CIC in lieu of birth certificate but it must also mention your father's name.

So you mean to say I need to get my ECA done from Diploma.?

Dear Srinivas,
when I did my credential evaluation, I was advised by WES to evaluate my first degree and Masters degree alone even though I have a diploma as well. So I would suggest you go ahead and evaluate your degree certificates and leave out your diploma.

Hi .. this may be accepted however suggest you to try to get the Birth certificate from your birth place , you are from which place? translate the same in english and send ...

Some useful info regarding substitute for birth certificate accepted to CIC

Dear All,

Congrats to all who have received good news from CIC.

I have received the application packet back on Aug 31, thought of sharing with you all.

My application was returned due to incomplete as per the CIC.

Following is the reason they have mentioned

We do not accept Passports as proof of Birth, therefore we are unable to accept details from passport. We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

Its surprising.
Its clearly written on the PSK website that you can schedule appointment once you complete your online application and pay fees.
Your fee receipt will have the appointment date or it is that you are yet to pay Rs. 500 online.
Just check the steps you took.
I had a PCC request and went ahead this way only.. without any appointment you can go on any week day between 11-12 or 10-11 as mentioned on the PSK website.

Exactly, private or government, corruption is in mindset so India story has very feeble chance to change it seems. Same thing I observed, PSK has done almost nothing (except for a coffee shop inside and photocopier). Same long queues, same brokers and agents sprawling all over.. I had experience with passport office and PSK both, didn't find much difference.

Srini,

As per Document Checklist if an applicant is unable to provide the certain required document, he/she should attach a written explanation along with his/her application to explain why the applicant is unable to provide certain document and he/she should submit an alternative document.

In your case, I suggest you to attach a written explanation why you birth certificate is not available and you are submitting your secondary school certificate as an alternative proof of your birth certificate. You must attach separate written explanation for your wife if her birth certificate is also missing and remember to attach her secondary school certificate too. Remember this point for any supporting document which may lack in your application.
