Hello guys, just 10 minutes ago, I got a knock on my door. On opening the door, I saw this white male. With a bright smile, he said his name was "Mr PER" from Sydney Nova Scotia...! Said he brought me a New Year's gift from The Immigration Minister. I gladly accepted his gift and then he said goodbye, see you in Edmonton AB.

Thanks for suggestions. Any more suggestions you could provide on this matter? I have to arrange a whole international trip, so it would be best if I don't miss anything. That'll blow things off :/

jigzy, can't you ask them to schedule it in Pakistan? I understand from my consultant that interview should come to your place unless you haven't updated your place of residence.

Hi all my dears n newbies too,

Back to the forum after a long long time. I have been moved to saudi arabia and gotta busy in new job.
Again need some help from some wonderful people here as I have changed the job and now i need to inform the visa office.
Its nearly impossible to get the reference letter from my new employer. What i have is offer letter, contract letter, job description and a salary slip.
Is that enough?
if I write expalanation letter to them what should i write in it?
how it will effect my immigration application as i have changed the country too though both countries have same visa office?

hi Champ, have you got your PER already? If yes, you don't have to provide experience letter from new employer, you may just want to update them that you changed your job, just in case they call your previous employer in a background check.

its totally upsetting as we were expecting a shower of MRs not the interviews

Where is my application?

Hello friends, My application under 2131 category was received by the Department on 6th Sep and some additional documents were received on 15th Oct 2013 (under the new 300 cap program). But I have not got any acknowledgement from the Department yet, the CC has not even be charged. Can you please advice what could be happening? And how do I follow up (their phones are always damn busy!, emails not replied!!)

jigzy, can't you ask them to schedule it in Pakistan? I understand from my consultant that interview should come to your place unless you haven't updated your place of residence.

I don't know if I can ask them or not, they should have selected Islamabad by default, as they have already done that in the past. But for some reason, they are scheduling for Abu Dhabi this time. I don't it's security or credibility of the embassy or what. I guess there's no harm in asking? What do you say? The only way they will reschedule the date / time & venue will be on very very solid grounds, else they'll consider it not available and will make decision on available documents.
