I want to be in Canada for this Summer.

I too wish that I could share good news with all the other forum members here, but alas all VO's are not equal. My Vo has not yet started processing 2013 applications, so all that is left to do is wait. Patience is by no means easy in this immigration process but it is necessary, especially if you want to maintain your sanity. And so my wait, like that of many others continues.

I sent my app on 29th Nov. Till date i didn't get my PER from CIC also i dont know the status of my DD.
I have my old UCI no. when i try to check ECAS with my Previous UCI it is not recognizing me.
but just now when i called the call center and entered my UCI and birth year for app status...
the IVR stated... "WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION ON 29th NOVEMBER 2013"
I am confused :-\ :-[ :'(

i dont have that much details ...but to keep it simple you need to undergo all the mental stress that u undergo for getting per..and finally u get MR, pprf fees and passport request one day....and again u got to wait for may be 3 to 5 months undergoing mental stress to get ur passport stamped....there u go Mr:Canadian. ....and if u r very lucky like 5% of applicants ...then u may have some background checks but thats very rare

Yaa, I am bothered about the waiting time.....I have already waited long for the initial PER.

Hello,

We received an email to send "Appendix B" Form to Sydney VO by email or post (we emailed it to them). They also requested to confirm our passports are still the same. My dilemma is I have already sent "RPRF" Bank cheque last week and they received it on "07/Jan/2014" but they requested RPRF payment in the email. I emailed them explaining about the situation and also gave them the bank cheque details. Its been 2 weeks since they received our Bank cheque and I checked with CBA and they informed me that the cheque is still not cashed/paid yet.

How long does it take Sydney VO to cash a bank cheque for RPRF? I am scared they might have lost it... :-[ Please help....

Aami , as you mentioned that you had UCI from your old application.

IS THE NEW AND OLD UCI NUMBER SAME IN YOUR CASE , as i also have my uci from visitor visa.

Pls confirm

Ya UCI remains same u can. U can check ur status by using same UCI and plz update regarding ur status
