I am May 13th applicant and AOR date is 26/10/2013
I did not send PCC with application.
Now as NDVO applicants are getting MRs
1.should i send PCC to NDVO ?
or
Should i wait and sent PCC to NDVO when demanded?
2. What is the easier way to get PCC in Punjab (INDIA)
i.e. through passport seva kendra or from SSP office?
thanks a lot Stoic,Stoic said:Ans
1. Wait till they ask for it.
2. Get it from PSK. If your passport was issued in last two years, you will get the PCC the same day. Otherwise they will do verification which can take anywhere between 15-45 days. I would suggest you get the PCC now. It will save time, because you can get MR any time now.
Both primary as well as adult dependent applicants have to submit PCC. I am not sure if PCC is required for your minor son. Anyone from forum may answer this.Jatpunjabi said:thanks a lot Stoic,
please also advise
as PCC required for
Principal applicant + spouse
Is PCC also required for my 12 years old son ?
you can get pcc within a week from psk in case of verification even. R u in punjab. After meeting psk, simply visit ur police station as they get mail within 2 days.he will submit the report 2nd day, will reach psk within 5days of application. Same can be collected next day.Jatpunjabi said:thanks a lot Stoic,

Im also in the same boat with shooting up blood pressures....but the thing we have to do is just wait, wait, and wait.....
The million dollar question and the unsolved mathematical calculation is....how NDVO is issuing MRs!!!!...unpredictable and absolutely inexplicable.....No FIFO...No order...Nothing....
I do accept that it depends on case to case...but how come June end files are processed first and initial May files r pended (at least they must know the status...it cannt be pend just like that)...this unpredictability is really mind blowing....
Just leave it to God's hands and His will...let him give whenever he wants....we have to just wait..wait...and wait...
I am hoping that next week we all will get good news....

that is great informationStoic said:Dear JatPunjabi,
Here is the information regarding PCC in the FSW 2013 Guide. I dont think you need to provide PCC for your son.
Police certificates
All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.
You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.
Koi gal nee veerey ...you are welcome. Just pray that we all get our MRs/PPRs soon !Jatpunjabi said:that is great information
so it is clear that i need not to send PCC for my son.
Thank you very much Stoic
