Hello People....!!! How are you guys doing,

I just logged into this forum, after couple of days and I see NDVO picking up cases for processing....and MRs.

Congratulations to all of them ...!!!

Go NDVO \m/ ...

These consultants just fake the news that NDVO will be working for the whole od Dec. They say this in order to get rid off of our constant follow ups with them. But anyways, if the news is true, Its more than good for us

:) :) you're right Vedh, I seriously doubt if ANY consultant out there knows more than this forum. We have the LIVE and CURRENT information as far as FSW 2013 goes, and thanks to this forum and participants for that. I'd not rely on any consultant, better help each other by providing what best we know and all will benefit mutually. As for the frustration of wait, the main issue is not knowing how long the wait is going to be. This open ended, one side, autocratic approach by visa office has been affecting lives a lot (check other threads for frustration on that). We all have to plan so many things - our jobs, schools, things to sell, education, services....and not having any idea on when the D day will be is the main frustration. If we are told clearly by CIC and/or VO that it is going to take 4 months, 6 months, 12 months ..then we all can plan accordingly and frustration will be low. The issue is they keep extending the average processing time on will...from 12 months to 16 months to 19 months to 22 months ...and who is going to stop them if they update it again to say 29 months and so on... It is only good news (like the latest movement on MR) that brings some relief and hope..

Hi Member,

I am planing to give IELTS test in Jan'14. Could you please help me for IELTS as i need 7 band in each section. I am bit worried about Reading section. Could you please share some usefull tips to me.

Thanks

Dear Vindo, pointers....

Keep a good eye on time, divide it so you set minutes for each question allocated when you get the paper. Skim through the reading section, and keep referring back to the article when you are answering related questions. Some places they make the question tricky, so be careful. In my opinion, you need to be extra careful on time for listening part of the exam. Since the results are good for two years, prepare well in advance. All the best.

@ sinestra - Not if you have submitted PCC along with app as it is good for 1 yr from the date of issue. Nevertheless, they would generally ask for PCC in the same email they ask for rest of the things and not one after another in queue.

@ I2C - PSK. They are fast and convenient. I believe they are the right authority to issue PCCs not the police officials. Me and my wife got in 3 hrs of applying. REALLY !!

Adrenalineforu, what you mentioned is good for the passports that were less than 2 years old. My experience was as follows:

Submitted both my wife's and mine same day for PCC. Mine is less than 2 years old. I got PCC immediately, whereas for my wife they said will take time as they have to forward it for verification. Her passport is 5 years old. Others may correct if their experience was different than I had.

let the rain begin!! Good day

Happy to see that Sept 12 applicant CC charged on 24 Nov (Page 2880 in this thread). Does it mean that the last CAP update (Nov 25) included Sept 12 applicants as well? I am under NOC 3142 (Sept 23 applicant) which is to be filled next and currently CAP reached to 272. :-\

Two things need to be informed only if your going to stay there for over 6 month.
1. Travels history
2.It will become mandate to provide PPC (police clearance certificate) fyi fairly quick to get it cost 80 pound in two day they will despatch .

There will be no issue and no need to inform if its only 4 to 5 months

Hope it helps

Can anyone help me regarding the following question?

I was in England for 5 years. But at the time of my application sending I was in my home country. and still I am here. In fact I am not returning to England anymore. When I sent my application I sent my home country's PCC along with it. After that I learnt I have to send the PCC of England as well. So my question is Shall I send it before my visa office (now) ask for it with the reference of my UCI or shall I send it when they ask for it? I have already got my AOR. Please advise me....

You can initiate the process to get the PCC from UK, get it ready and submit it as and when asked by VO.
