My wife had travelled to Iran, Iraq and Syria for pilgrimage before marriage. But my travel history is clean. I have just been to Dubai twice. I also got my Multiple Entry Visit Visa to Canada in 2010 without any trouble. Got it in just 2 days! When my wife applied for a visit visa she got rejected twice. First time for not submitting marriage certificate and second time stating travel history. I had attached photos and tickets etc for clarity but still they rejected her visa. My question is even this time will it affect my PR application or delay it? I am planning to get a new passport for her and loose the old one and get an FIR copy for that. Will that help or still they would have her records of her travel history?

Definitely they've got ur wife's record since she applied twice..
Moreover she's been already rejected due to travel history..
I think you'd better seek consultant/ lawyer help..

The reason is that I wrote down 2 visa offices on my application. 1- Sydney, Australia and 2- Ankara, Turkey.

Now, I am not sure which one CIO will be used to send my documents.

I am planning to apply under the 2013 Federal Skilled Worker Programme (FSWP) for economic immigration to Canada. All my documentations are ready to be sent to CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada but I need some clarifications on my IELTS test score below.

IELTS Test Score for English Language (the first official language)
Listening: 7.5
Reading: 7.5
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 6.0

Overall: 7.0

Q1a: Is my total score 16 or 21 out of the maximum 24 points achievable for the first official language under the FSWP for 2013?
Q1b: Is the CLB level and points calculated per language ability?
Q2: What is my CLB level as my speaking test result is quite low? Am I CLB 7 or 8?
Q3: Do I meet the minimum CLB level requirements?

You may pass the basic eligibility criteria of one year experience in eligible occupation but I have doubt if you can pass the minimum requirement for your work experience which is minimum one year work experience in same occupation. In your case, your occupation is HR but experience for which you have applied is health & safety. To pass minimum requirement of work experience you must have degree/education in health & safety.

I have 1 year experience in health and safety but education in HR but in my country HR people do health and safety

I am sure he wont apply if he doesnt have one year work experience in 2263. I think he has that but he is scared that CIC may use substituted evaluation to reject his application even after he gets to 67points because his edicational background is not related in any way to NOC2263.
Thats my understanding of his concern.

The minimum requirement of work experience calls for 1 year work experience related to same occupation. This argument might not work that in certain parts of world HR people also work in health & safety. Anyways, I wish you good luck, who knows you may get through.

I am seriously getting frustrated by this waiting period....

Currently no information is coming about how much more time it will take to have MR from NDVO ?

About getting MR there is no operational philosophy followed by NDVO which results in unpredictability of time frame for it.

Even after doing MR, how much more time it will take for Passport request and to receive stamped passport ......

As i am June 1st week applicant, from now two months to go for MR, then two months for PPR and then 1.5 months for Stamped passport..... it is taking too much time... i anticipate stamping will be done in May 2014, which is a quite a long time.

I have very little patience left for wait. The wait which will add additional degree of freedom (i. e.exploring Canada )

You will get 21 points.
Yes points calculated per language level.. not on overall level..
Yes you meet minimum CLB (7) = IELST (6).
For speaking u get CLB-7

I think its a bit strange to have a Bachelors in HR and an MBA and work in NOC2263 but then again, the most important criteria here is that you have the required minimum one year working experience in the field. Personally I think it should be fine but the truth is that its all down to the visa officer that reviews your file to decide because they have the power to accept or deny an application whether it reaches the 67 points mark or not due to reasons best known to them. Seniors with similar scenarios would be in a better position to answer.Fingers crossed, that won't be a problem and you get in. I'm a fellow 2263.

Seriously, the waiting period is getting on nerves. Just too dificult to have patience. This is affecting our future plans as well
