My 2 other friends got their PER 15 days and 8 days respectively ahead of me. Already they got their AOR from Singapore VO. But where is my one? I got my PER on 2nd October......oh!!.... ???

Usually.. 2 weeks maximum.

Guys, any idea when you think overall cap of 5,000 will reach?

Actually i did some calculations and i posted them here before... I think it's hard to reach the 5000 cap this year, as far as the numbers from CIC of applications received don't show so.

No, not yet, I am expecting them to arrive this Friday or not later than tuesday next week.

Files are transferred with in specific time frame. It's up to VO to send AOR or not. Usually AOR are sent at a later date. It's not prompt.

I know someone who is in Romania Visa Office and requested his notes couple of days ago ... Not related to our Visa Office, but will give us some idea what is going on in other VO.

Hi Stranger Friendly, Why do you need to update your new passport to the VO? it's very obvious that VO don't care if your passport has changed even at the time of stamping the visa. please refer to the below post from Chinook.

I-Man , you have a point. But as my both primary ids (National Id Card and Passport) both are renewed and changed.

The new Id card I received is completely different from the previous one because government is issuing Chip based cards now, secondly my picture was at least 15 years old on my previous id card, which is completely different than my current looks. So the difference is too much, so just to avoid any confusion I want to update my file.

Good. Actually I am just thinking about reapplying in case (God Forbid) my applciation gets rejected. Now question is only should I wait for my file to be returned or apply immediately after confirming the rejection. Will appreciate comments/suggestions from all.

Well, better to apply at once but the problem is always the documents... do you have all the required documents already, including IELTS and WES (originals)?!! if yes, so apply at once, don't waste time and i think that people who are applying now their procedures will be faster than first months.
