I know things can get quite tricky sometimes. And I have seen people sent back to their native countries until the time they have to reapply for PR. One such case is in my In-laws family and that made me a bit scared.

BTW (off-topic), I also think of pushing towards business line. May be (if everything goes fine), will do some import/export business in Canada instead of a Job. I know getting into a job in Canada would not be easy. But then neither would business be.

Today I got my Police clearance certificate from Passport seva kendra, Gurgaon.

I will try to answer few queries regarding PCC from India based on my experience.

dear june applicants who dis not recieve anything like me listen caredully.i think they have forgot to process our applications as i talked to agent and asked for the possibility of ignored files she says that everything is possible and officer may forget to process files i think we are facing the same problem.as my dd is still pending and my app is not been returned as i asked they said its still with cio.becoz call center agents and mail replying staff does not know the exact status they just checked with the system but in actual files are lost somewherelse.plz send them email and share replies u for from cio.

Hi, you might be right. Even I have not heard anything from CIC, no charge till now, app is also not yet returned...wondering where could be my application.

Its highly impossible that they forget to process an application. Please send them an email and you will definitely know the outcome. I wish positive outcome for you

Yes it is possible. However you had best prepare a good excuse for spending that year away in the event that you meet a difficult Immigration officer at the port of re-entry.

Today I went to the registrar office to get the birth certificate for my wife.
But as her birth was not registered, they refused to give the certificate.

Is there any alternative to the birth certificate for spouse? Any notrasied copies of matriculation certificate/passport or any affidavit?

Any suggestions would be useful.

I applied for NOC 0211.. what are the chances of me getting under 300 , as of now 265 already filled.

I am in the same situation too. I am 27 May applicant and got PER on 15 August. Lot of guys after me have their AOR from NDVO already.
I'll wait for couple of days more before sending them any emails.
I'll definitely not mind if they have already transferred my application to some other VO like CPP-O

and I received PER on 15/07/2013.

No AOR from NDVO till now
