Congratulation...!
2147 is nearly cap reached! you are so lucky! ;D ;D
I think you should expect your application arrival to Warsaw instead Ankara as it happens to most Ankara Applicants!

Thank you very much,

Tracking the FSWP2013 spreadsheet I was sure to be in the cap. The only think which worried me a lot, was missing communication after 1st August, when my CC was charged.

By the way, what's wrong with Ankara VO? Is it due to public strikes against Turkish government?

Strongly agree with you from Application point of view,However FSW visa holder has no boundary if he/she has offer letter of Quebec.
The difference why they have kept for visa for Quebec and rest province is just because in Quebec, French community is in majority and they need French language skill so that visa holder can mold in their society and it would be easy to work where french language is first for communication. So, Quebec government dont have any issue if FSW applicant is having offer from Quebec!! One of my friend who dont know french but has got job in quebec and he is working there since when he went there! so thats fine.
btw, I and my wife will also look Quebec as first preference because we have learn french language upto DALF B1 level, assuming there might be more chance of getting job!!,but have shown sydney as destination in application!!! ;D

Oooo...!
Quebec is a different story!

"People can apply to immigrate to Canada under "Federal skilled worker" category. Skilled workers apply under this category if they want to live in any Canadian province or territory except Quebec.

Skilled workers who want to live in Quebec apply under a separate category. The province of Quebec selects its own skilled workers. Applicants who intend to go to Quebec are known as "Quebec-selected" skilled workers

Hi All,

Cap status for 2147 is updated to 264. Any idea about applications till which date have been charged CC/DD?
I am now really worried as I am July 29th applicant and haven't seen any applicant post 15th July getting CC/DD charged. With this trend, chances of I am making to 300 figure is almost nil. :(

Sorry to say but based on previous trends your application is likely to be out of cap :(

Hi Forum Members,

Now that i see that CIC are charging applications for NOC 2147 dated 3rd July, i am getting a bit hesitant as i am 2nd July applicant for NOC 2147.

Is this normal or should I get mentally prepared.

Regards,

AAM

FSW and Quebec Skilled Worker,

Have seen few posts today re FSW going to Quebec and vice versa. I personally know two people who applied to immigrate to Canada through the Quebec Skilled Worker Program with their families. One of them stayed 1 week in Montreal before moving to Vancouver, and the other one stayed 1 day! Both are working in British Columbia without any problems what-so-ever. I have not asked specific details re PR cards, etc ...

One immigrated 1 year ago, the other one 2 years ago.

Few years ago there was a big fuss regarding the matter in Canada and the conclusion was that once you are in Canada the government cannot stop you legally from moving from one part to another regardless of which program you immigrated through. Please note, officially the government states that you cannot move from Quebec to another province if you immigrated through the Quebec Skilled Worker, otherwise it will become mayhem and it will undermine the different immigration programs.

If the above has changed in the last 6 months I don't know! But I met the couple who did the above in January in Vancouver ...

There is related short discussion here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/landing-in-a-different-city-than-the-stated-in-the-fsw-application-t107878.0.html

today i get a response from CIC about my inquiry, my file has been transferred to London Visa office,

Admin please update,

Dear Forumites,

I am applying for UK PCC. Please share your experience with regards to this, especially someone who did this from Dubai.

1. Documentation required(dewa bill etc.. for address proof)
2. Payment modalities(which bank and type of instrument used)
3. To and fro courier/postal options
and any other relevant information.

Thanks.

Hi Forum Members,

Just as i was getting in the panic mode and sending posts on the forum, I received PER mail from CIC.

I was sure i should have something today from CIC, the spreadsheet created really helped me to know when the expected time would come.

Really appreciate the efforts.

I was seeing luqi's posts and I am sure he will get the good news tomorrow.

Regards,

AAM

Hi All,

Do I need to be hopeful about making it to Canada this year?
I was following another thread that had applicants way back in the year 2010 get MR now by NDVO. If that is the speed at which they perform, my dreams are quite distant. I am shuddering at the thought of working in my current organisation for even 6 months.

How did applicants of the year 2012 get visas so quickly? Damn, I can't think of anything positive. Is it just me?

You are not alone on this, i feel the same way too!!!
