Either case, that is a win for us, right ? All we want is PAFSO to work! Where does it says government can force PAFSo to work?

barcomi / melkouk / fsw2174

Thank you all for your suggestions and comments. Only if I sent off for WES 1 week early I may have had a chance to get my application into CIC in the last week of May. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for FSWP, however I know my chances are now very slim :-(

I guess FSWP is the easiest route as you can go straight to Canada and search for employment etc...
I guess studying in Toronto would be great, but again it will be a drain on my finances and especially if I want to go to Rotman School of Management or University of Toronto. Humber College would be cheaper I suppose...

To be honest I don't know which option to go for.... Just travelling there and searching for a job for 6 months may be a good option as my sister is studying in Toronto already, therefore accommodation wouldn't be a problem plus I am fed up at work / To get anywhere have to take risks.... 6 months I think it would be possible to network and get an LMO / work permit? Or is this wishful thinking? LOL

As a qualified Yoga Instructor - Is it possible to go to Canada for 6 months and become self-employed Yoga Instructor?

This is not possible unfortunately. There is no such thing as a self-employed work permit. If you wish to work in Canada as a yoga instructor, you will have to find an employer who can obtain an approved LMO - and then you must apply for a work permit.

Are the files that are returned also be allotted a UCI number???

PCCs are generally not asked for a second time, unless the person is high risk and its been more than a year since your last submission of PCC. Based on that, I'll say there's a 30% chance that they might ask you to provide another one. But I would be more accurate in my prediction if I knew your circumstances. Things like your age, marital status, number of countries you've travelled in last 10 yrs, your education level, your family members (number and their occupation), your spouse background (if applicable), and many more factors add up when assessing the risk level for asking for another PCC during an ongoing application.

Yes, UCI is also allotted to returned Applications.

scylla - Thanks for info. I will look into this route too as I have friends who own Yoga studios in Toronto. :)

Hi Maina,
PCC is generally asked along with Medicals. If medical request comes within one year of submission of PCC, then NDVO might not ask for another copy.
