but tell me Vats..I issue DD on 9th May,and if CIC take it do deposite say after 9th August then? what will happen to files?
Ideally they wont take that much time! but expiry of DD can happen only delay of deposit the DD in their account.

I didnt gave CC details because one of my friend got file return because of some technical issue trasaction was not geting in place.
Later my friend came to know on that day ,bank was having some maintanance activity of CC and DB card.
So to avoid such a technical things..I use DD.

But I guess its all about LUCK now! what you say?!!

international DD are with 6 month validity, today I enquire again with my bank and they assure that they will stamp expire date of 6 month on DD. I told them to issue the same today.

Spill.over could you throw some light on it because as per your post you were in middle of application preparation on 27 may than how come your app reached on 25( that also on weekend they accepted???)

Stop joking man.... Here every one is anxious about cc/dd charged by CIC..and you should not make a joke on such sensitive situation...... This is impossible that CIC skip 20 days and charged your so called CC than You must be Jason Kenny's close relative...

Education documents r not required for spouse
For spouse ,IELTS is required (only if u r claiming points). Otherwise not required

Spouse or Common-Law partner educational docs are required. Refer Document Checklist Point 13 - Proof of Education/Training/Qualification. Only ECA is not required for Spouse or Common-Law partner.

I was able to procure 6 month validity DD from ICICI, they clearly mentioned on the DD( Hand written on the top).
Before drawing the DD i had asked their representative and he said he had done similar type of DD for GBP and 6 months validity will be there .

Never mind if you gain or not, the thumb rule is DO AS SAID or the file will be sidelined in the initial scrutiny. The purpose of checklist is exactly the same. If you did not 'tick' to something that should be there (but the supporting doc is there), they won't go to the next page. File closed. If you did 'tick' something and it is not there, File closed.

Guys when & how do we know that our application is complete and CIC will start working on it. I have sent my app today, lets see when does it get there to NS.

Good for you.

But when i put my second thought i felt it's so weird.
1. Dose CIC sign any package on Sat? Since May 25th was a Sat.
2. It is hard to make me believe that there is only one was charged on that day among the whole forum.
I suppose there should be a group of people were charged in the same day.
3. It dose not make any sense that earlier received applicants are not charged first.

I may be too sensitive. I hope this news is for real.

You r right....it is also surprising that app was sent on 23rd, received on 25th (Saturday) and CC charged on 30th. Somehow I am sure this post is not true. The guy lied.
