no. You can get 24 points for your first language (English in your case) and additional 4 points provided that you meet the minimum thresholds outlined by the CIC.

Dear
Your friend have to get reference letter from 4th Employer before submit to CIC. For your information, for my time, I am MI3 applicant, when I applied first time in Aug 2011, I have all of my reference letter from previous letter but one of my previous company never write my job description in this letter. For this reason, CIC issue one letter to me said that you have insufficient information .so I have to applied 2nd time on Dec 2011.

OK what if he is able to attach other evidence of that job such as appointment letter, resignation acceptance letter, pay stubs etc in place of the reference letter. This will give CIC all the required information such as position held, salary etc except the "job duties". Will that work?

I haven't started with my application for FSW . I have to start the educational assessment yet. Can anyone guide me if I can make it within 300 successful applicants (NOC 2174) if I start the process now. The CIC website has not been updated to give the clear picture of the visa applications accepted.

Should I hire a consultant for the process or its easy to do it by own?

Please guide me for the end to end process.

How difficult is it to get 4 points from French as second language If i studied it long time back in the secondary school for 3 years, means i know some basics

You can go ahead for filing if you have your IELTS result ready with band 6.but for 2174 its bit difficult as of now. do u have your ecs readdy?

you can make file at your own.

Its difficult..you learn long time back and you hows french language is!! hardly you remember now!!

The best place to learn the french is alliance francaise,they have center all over the world its own by ministry of franch
now to get the 4 points you need specific score in all modules in TEF exam,If you clear DELF A1 , A2 level and study for B1 then you can get the TEL required score!!
Meaning you need to study french 1.3 years atleast from alliance francaise kind of qualitative intitute then only you will get it.

Anyway,I will let you know more in details if you want further on this.
But for now I am out from this forum for few days due to french exam! that is on 5 june.

That's a smart way to put it, unfortunately, the other way around would be far from that!
with reference to the whole time all the applicants have been waiting for the new FSW rules, besides the potential of new regulations to be active from next year, along with the shrinked caps... etc

With many variables included, we are only playing the guessing game
